Sportscapper Bonus Play for Tuesday – Houston-San Diego UNDER

Tonight the 0's will add up at Petco Park as Clemens and Peavy take the mound.

Sure this is one of the lowest totals you are going to find anytime this year, but I say to go UNDER the total tonight. Clemens has a road ERA of 0.37 for the season, while Peavy sports a 3.14 ERA overall for the season.

These teams did manage to find the OVER column last night, but Houston has been UNDER in 7 of their last 10, while San Diego has been UNDER in 6 of their last 10 with a push.

just curious, what is the total? i noticed when you play a total, you dont list what the total is, but i am a fast reader and may have overlooked it. gl tonight and your future plays.

The total I have is 6.5. I'm on it as well.

People have asked that before about numbers and I can't see a good reason to post it. The number I get may not be what you get. The most common number out there tonight is 6.5 and that is what I will go with, although some people may have the 7 minus a lot of money as their choice. The times the number does come into play I will go with the most common number available for record keeping purposes.

hey sports cap,
thanks for the winning pick last night. literally you put $$$ in my bank.
But today? Something isn't right when Clemens is the dog in a game. Wondering about his hip, his back, whatever, but he got uncharacteristically bombed last outing. Getting late in season, law of averages catch up to Clemens gaudy numbers? The line doesn't go lower, not much margin for error & Padres were patient at the plate during that Sunday loss to the Braves. True, they didn't put up the runs.

There would be a good reason to post some number, at least the last vig you would consider it to still be a bet. For instance, it is unlikely that you would recommend UNDER 6.5 -140. While the vig hasn't crashed on this game, with others it can and does from time-to-time.
