I worked for CTG at Kennametal for awhile. The guy at CTG was a black man and
for the life of me I can't remember his name but he always shook your hand that
way. I called the HNIC.

I know you're in that business and I'll bet you've crossed paths with him.

Do you remember what his name is?
i don't. my ex boss from Marconi is the Kennametal CHRO so I know mostly the folks connected with her like the CMO and VP of Marketing and their old CHRO. not too many minorities in those type of positions in Latrobe so i would remember him if i met him

I’m not assuming anything. Trump looked like a child against a man yesterday. Putin lied to his face, we know that for a fact and Trump did nothing!! Why didn’t he challenge Putin and tell him to stop meddling? If he had, he would be a fucking hero today to most but instead he backed off and looked weak in most people’s eyes. Yesterday was NOT a good day for him. That’s the truth and even many Republicans have said it. You and the rest here are sheep so you will never admit he does anything wrong.

again , you're changing the subject and spinning as usual. Not once did I hear him say he believed Putin.. Just because he doesn't want to have a cat fight in front of everyone like you were hoping for , doesn't mean he's weak. How is he weak ? sanctions are still in place , no public apology from Trump for killing 200 Russians in Syria. time and place for that , sorry you can't see that.. I know you're use to appeasing by Obama , its just not going to happen from Trump.. You're reaching

Just because he doesn't tell Putin to stop it in public , doesn't mean he believes him

talk about spin? his exact words indicate he believes Putin over his own Director of National Intelligence :)

Changing the subject, lol. He fucked up yesterday. No spin involved. I didn’t vote for Obama the 2nd time and I did vote for Trump so take you Obama shit and shove it up your ass. Trump did not look good yesterday, period. That’s the subject. He should have stood up to Putin and told him to stop meddling and he didn’t. I guarantee you that Putin is laughing his ass off today knowing he has Trump in his pocket.

Think? That's rather vague don't you think? I mean either you know or you don't. Speculation doesn't cut it.

"But our relationship has never been worse than it is now.

However, that changed, as of about four hours ago.

I really believe that. Nothing would be easier politically than to refuse to meet, to refuse to engage, but that would not accomplish anything.

As president, I cannot make decisions on foreign policy in a futile effort to appease partisan critics, or the media, or Democrats who want to do nothing but resist and obstruct.

Constructive dialogue between the United States and Russia affords the opportunity to open new pathways toward peace and stability in our world.

I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics.

As president, I will always put what is best for America and what is best for the American people.

During today's meeting, I addressed directly with President Putin the issue of Russian interference in our elections.

I felt this was a message best delivered in person. We spent a great deal of time talking about it and President Putin may very well want to address it and very strongly, because he feels very strongly about it and he has an interesting idea.

We also discussed one of the most critical challenges facing humanity: nuclear proliferation.

I provided an update on my meeting last month with Chairman Kim on the denuclearization of North Korea and after today, I am very sure that President Putin and Russia want very much to end that problem. Going to work with us and I appreciate that commitment."

That’s the opinion of most I’d say based on what I’ve seen so I’ll stick with it. And don’t get me wrong, I think what Trump is trying to do is a good thing. Trying to make good relations with Russia is fine with me but his first meeting yesterday was a disaster in my opinion and many agree with me. He should have confronted Putin about the meddling and put Putin on the spot. Instead, he looked weak by letting it slide, or he did believe Putin so had no reason to push it. Either way, Putin won round 1.

I'm here today to continue the proud tradition of bold American diplomacy. From the earliest days of our republic, American leaders have understood that diplomacy and engagement is preferable to conflict and hostility.

A productive dialogue is not only good for the United States and good for Russia but it is good for the world.

The disagreements between our two countries are well-known and President Putin and I discussed them at length today.

But if we're going to solve many of the problems facing our world, then we are going to have to find ways to cooperate in pursuit of shared interests. Too often in both recent past and long ago, we have seen the consequences when diplomacy is left on the table.

We have also seen the benefits of cooperation. In the last century, our nations fought alongside one another in the Second World War. Even during the tensions of the Cold War, when the world looked much different than it does today, the United States and Russia were able to maintain a strong dialogue.

well, that's Trump's word...not Coats'. Coats said he has provided "unvarnished and objective intelligence" that have made it perfectly clear that Russia meddled. So I guess we both agree that it's concerning that Trump is vague when presented with supposedly clear facts that Russia continue their "pervasive efforts" to meddle.

reminds me of a discussion in CFB forum where a poster insists that no QB has succeeded in their 3rd school. When posed with the facts that the Heisman winner, sCam Newton, won a title at his 3rd school and at least 4 others (off the top of my head) were tremendously successful at 3rd school his argument was "well, that's different". Some people just simply don't like to be wrong....

No reason for Trump to be questioning this intelligence in favor of Putin's "We had nothing to do with it" if it's as clear and damning as Coats believes it is

(btw other than that SINGLE statement I thought Trump won big in this meeting. My guess is he wishes he didn't say what he said as that really clouds the overall summit message)

I guess if Clapper, Brennan Comey and the other corrupt swamp creatures claim the Russians "meddled", then Putin "meddled"! And by golly, Trump should have told that Vladimir off, and thrown the soccer ball right back at him for extra special effect! YEAH BABY! Then, and only then, would Trump redeem himself in the eyes of the same scumbags who have been undermining and sabotaging his candidacy and presidency from the very beginning. How dare Trump call Mueller and his 13 angry partisan Democrats liars on the world stage!

So the Russians "meddled"...only nobody can tell us what "meddling" actually entailed, but suffice to say, the Crooked Cackling C*nt should have won, and that bastard Putin denied her her crown! Which means Trump really isn't a legitimate president.

This is the underlying narrative for SORE LOSERS WHO CAN'T STOMACH LOSING! The same LOSERS who refused to confront the Kenyan's ineligibility, and all the countless lies, scandals and crimes we had to endure for 8 long painful years. The same LOSERS responsible for fed up Normals going rogue and giving us President Trump in the first place.

But, but, but, but....the Russians "meddled"!!!!! How? Our intelligent agencies say so, who are NEVER EVER wrong!! Just don't ask about details because that's classified...a top deep state secret! Ask Rosenweasel....these secrets so sensitive to national security even Congress can't see all the relevant documents!

They think you're stupid and some of you are - witness some of the responses in this thread. Only we the Normals are not. Neither is Trump who, like you, has just about had enough of these arrogant corrupt assholes!

Putin meddled!! :Carcajada:

DRAIN THE SWAMP AND DRAIN IT NOW!
