Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Jeanne was threatening to turn into a hurricane Wednesday in the Caribbean as it approached Puerto Rico. At 8 a.m., it had wind of about 70 mph, just a few mph below hurricane strength, and was about 70 miles southeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Long-range forecasts showed it could be near Florida's east coast as early as the weekend.

Question for the Fla guys, how expensive is hurricane insurance? Or is it so expensive most go without? That was explain why some pretty nice condos and houses I saw in Fla were so dirt cheap. Lst time I was in Orlando and Miami I was seriously tempted to bust out the United Platinum Card and buy a condo and scoop a few round trip tickets from the bonus miles on top it. Of course keep in mind a 60-year old falling apart 1200 square foot house in a nice neighborhood over here costs about 700k, so my perspective on what constitues cheap might be warped...
