</IFRAME>NEW YORK, Dec 19, 2007 (UPI via COMTEX) -- A book Lynne Spears wrote about raising her celebrity daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn will not be published in the United States this spring as planned.
"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not canceled," a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles, told People magazine.
The memoir, which Publishers' Weekly described as "Lynne Spears' personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community," was expected to hit stores in the spring, but was delayed last week.
Pop singer Britney's alleged hard-partying ways and irresponsible parenting have drawn criticism and made headlines all year and it was reported Tuesday that 16-year-old TV star Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend's baby.
The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of Lynne Spears' book would change in light of recent events, People said.
"We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family -- we support that," the spokeswoman said
