Another scalping question- Shouldn't you make an offer 100% of the time?

I think I ma figuring this out but if a game is lined -125 and +119.

No matter who you like (dog or favorite) wouldn't you make an offer EVERTIME of -123 or +123.

Wouldn't that be smarter than taking either line of -125 or +119.

This seems to easy, what am I missing here?

One question i've had about scalping is how do you make sure that you are able to "lock in" the price? I know at Olympic they give you a minute to make the bet, but what about other sites? I've seen scalp opportunities, but by the time i can even open an IE browser to sign on my account the opportunity is already gone. I'd hate to bet half my bankroll on one side of a game to find out the scalp is gone and have to take a guaranteed 5% loss or so betting the next best line.

best advice I give you is to bet at the slow moving square book first. Nothing is guaranteed but the bad line will be gone 1st

Use firefox, open both sites to the "confirm wager" page, click both right after one another, you should be able to do it within 2-3 seconds. The chances of odds changing in that time are quite slim, and books will often let you cancel if you call right away in that case.

RE: making offers, the problem with that is the simple answer that there's no guarantee that it's going to be accepted.
