I tend to lean with you on this selection. OSU is a senior-junior laden team. Experienced. They won't be intimidated by the bright lights of Los Angeles.
+11 does seem like an aweful ot to give to an experienced Jim Tressel coached team.
SO OUTSIDE OF PLAYING IN ONE OF THE WEAKEST CONF. THE LAST 2 YEARS YOU THINK OHIO ST. IS A WINNER AFTER BEING BLOWN OUT BY THE SEC 2 YEARS IN A ROW WHEN THEY FACED A GOOD TEAM. GUESS YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT USC DID TO MICH LAST YEAR.
BIG TEN IS WAY DOWN ,THEY WILL REBOUND SOME DAY BUT NOT ANYTIME SOON.
I think this game is setting up to be eerily similar to when OSU traveled on September 9, 2006 to Austin to face Texas.
They managed a 24-7 convincing victory.
I will not go as far as saying that OSU will beat USC outright, but it will not surprise me if the final score is much closer than what the oddsmakers think.
Don't be surprised if Wells is playing come Saturday. He is listed as doubtful but I have talked to several people in C-Bus and I think he will play............
