Why do they always send the shit teams over there? No team would ever want to move there. They haven't even figured out what side of the road to drive on. All these roided up dumbass athletes will turn the Brits off once they get these 5 AM drunken crashes while going 258 kilometers per hours while raping their way through London
It would be profitable for the NFL simply for the TV deal.
There would be all kinds of competitive balance issues though.
If you have 1 team in London this would force 3 teams that are in this teams division to travel to London every season.
Also the London team would not be competitive on a regular basis.
The travel would get to them and would be unsustainable traveling halfway around the world 8 times a season.
I would imagine they would also have a real disadvantage in free agency also.
Cant imagine too many players picking London when all else is equal.
It would be great for the NFL as far as revenue but awful for the team in London.

Logistics nightmare if London had a team. What if they hosted a playoff game? What type of home field advantage would that be?
It's more likely that London hosts a game every week. With every team at some point giving up a home game to play there.
Not just London, but different places around the world...
So the London team gets 16 home games?
Now the competitive advantage goes the other direction.
Just just as unfair as the other way.
No matter what they do its good for the NFL.
But not good for the game itself.
not that bad reno, but they would have to play atleast 2 home and 2 on road for it to work. the hardest part right now is they are giving teams byes the week after playing over there, which would be hard to schedule for every home game for them. so you would be looking at traveling to London for a game, then maybe playing an east coast game the following week. ideally, they would really need a 2nd team over there to help make traveling to London worth it.
