I Will Be Praying For You & Your Family My Brother!

I Can't Say I Know What You Are Going Through Completely, But I Can Relate To Losing A Parent. As You May Recall, I Lost My Mom On December 10, 2007. I'll Never Forget Getting That Call @ 1:24PM That Monday. Since Then I've Hated Mondays, Hated 1:24, Feel Like I'll Always Hate December, Etc. My Mom Was My Best Friend, And Was Only 50 Years Old. I've Tried To Push On As I Have A Wonderful Wife & A Beautiful Daughter But Man It Has Been Extremely Difficult. I Think About My Mom Every Minute Of Every Day!

When I Was 7 Years Old, I Had 2 Lymph Noids Come Up. I Had One In My Groin, and One Under My Armpit. The Doctors Kept Telling My Family That There Was A Good Chance It Was Hodgkins, And If It Was Then I Had 6/7 Months To Live. Once The Biopsy Was Done, Neither Turned Out To Be Hodgkins. They Were Actually Swollen Lymph Noids That Came Up After Being Scratched By A Cat, And The Doctors Called It Cat Scratch Fever. I've Avoided Cats Ever Since! I Know Technology Has Came A Long Way, And I Pray That Your Wife, Nagquita Beats This Cancer.

We Really Miss Having You Around Here @ TheRx, But Take Care Of Your Family, As They Really Need You Right Now.
Again, Take Care Of Those 2 Angels, As You Are About All They've Got Right Now. Stay Strong & Keep Climbing The Mountains That Are Being Layed Out In Front Of You!

You Have My Thoughts & Prayers!
God Bless

I'm so sorry for this sad news. Since I'm 8 months into my sons treatment for Leukemia the best advice I can give you is 1) The power of prayers is remarkable, 2) Always remain positive, 3) Live each day one day at a time (Meaning don't worry about things that are down the road. You will have enough to worry about each day). My family and i will be praying for a speedy recovery.

My prayers go out to you and your family. To help cure your wife 100% but also to give you, your wife and children the faith , courage, and strength to face this adversity that has come your way.

Here is a prayer that has always helped me:

"May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world, now and forever.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us.
St. Jude , worker of miracles, pray for us.
St Jude, helper of the hopeless, pray for us."

Hey guys just got back from her follow up appointment. Things were good news for the most part in our current case.

They said her cancer is only in one other spot directly below the 1st location. Since it is so close the chemo should take care of both in a matter of time, essentially melting away the two areas. We have to meet with the chemo and radiation doctors next week to determine a course of treatment including things like duration and frequency. More than likely the doc said she would probably be given just a low dosage of chemo for a period of time since cancer was in only two locations. And with her age they don't want to overdue chemo to create other problems that were not previously there. So all this is good news and I do believe the power of prayer works. So thank you for all the prayers and support that have come and that will come. I will continue to update everyone as to what hopefully will be good news.
