Last 49er TD that was ruled incomplete, ref RIGHT in front of the play, I'm talking 3 feet away, as good of an angle as you could EVER get on a play, and he rules it incomplete. Meaningless TD (except for teaser players) but there is just no excuse for it. Thank goodness for instant replay.........

It wasn't meaningless for O/U bettors, they would have gone for it on 4th and had not made it, game would have fell under.

Hache,
You are 100% correct. These NFL refs a joke. They're all about 70 years old and apparently have little-to-no playing experience. It's week in and week out that they royally f*k up big calls.

Was a very weak call in live time, obviously a catch. and this is coming from someone who had big bucks on other side, even I can concede R.E.Lee style.:monkey:

they would not have gone for it on 4th. they needed 3 scores. its not like the ball was inside the 1 or even the 2. would have been 4th and 7.

Bettors don't realize the enormous power that the referees hold over their money. Like the old saying "they could call holding on every play if they wanted to" but they only call it when they feel like. Refs are instructed to "fix" games not from a gambling sense but to increase excitement, controversy, and Fantastic Finishes that will be talked about for years. The leagues know where their bread is buttered and so do the advertisers who buy time.
