another cops and taser thread

crazy night in oakland. 2 fans also ran onto the field, one of them gave a hell of a chase.

all this as the rangers start to fade.

Granted the guy was being difficult (probably drunk) but tazing was a bit much. When tazers first were issued to police departments, they were to be used as a "last resort" before lethal force was to used. Now, their use is primarily for "pain compliance" and the general public has been conditioned to accept that if you dont do what the cops tell you to do, "right now", they will taze you. The other thing that gets me, there was several cops and stadium security guards there...so, was tazing really neccessary? BTW, several hundred people have died in the past few years due to tazing...it would be a shame if that guy had a heart attack from being tazed and died...

hard to make out for sure Say Hey, but very well could be saying "i want my mommy" over and over. could also be "i love miami" or "i'm outta money"



btw, i really can't believe they tazed this guy. it's not like he got up to take a swing...

now takes THREE cops and a tazer to get a drunk guy out of the ballpark? they must have forgot their billyclubs last night or he'd have taken one of them to the throat
