Yeah...I don`t know if they would have fouled again at that point (if Det rebounded it)...you can never tell, I could see Artest fouling with 0.8 to finish it...

Croshere use to be a good player

When was Croshere a good player? His career high was 10.3 ppg during the 99-00 season. After that, it was 10.2, 6.8, 5.1, 5.0.

I know, and he signed a fat contract because of it. But a few good playoff games doesn't qualify as a good season.

He wasn't even THAT good during the 99-00 playoffs. He just had some big games against the Lakers. His stats for the 99-00 playoffs:

23 games
9.4 ppg
41.8 FG%
83.9 FT% (73 for 87)
40.5 3P% (15 for 37)
4.7 rpg
0.8 apg
9 steals
16 blocks

Hey, is Kareem Rush a free-agent? Maybe somebody will give him $8 million per year.

Croshere got lucky, he signed his contract when stupid GMs didn't fully realize the long-term ramifications of signing unproven players to huge contracts.

These days, NOBODY is gonna give a guy like Croshere (7 years, $51 million) a big contract.

The super-stars (Kobe, Shaq, KG, Duncan) will get the max. Rookies will get their pre-determined salary based on draft order. Meanwhile, everybody else is lucky to get more than $5 million/year. Nobody is gonna blow their salary-cap on a Juwan Howard.

The "right" side was clearly the Pacsrs, despite the fact that it took a last second shot for the cover...
