Just saw that too, crazy!!
There's been a lot of bellyaching about adjusting the way baseball schedules early-season games, but I think it's an overreaction to an extent. It's usually not a problem, but the situation in Cleveland was getting bad.
My suggestion would be if you're gonna schedule games in markets where weather could be an issue, i.e. Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, etc., make them divisional games. That way if the games can't be played, they can be easily rescheduled for any number of occasions later in the season. Indians are over the barrel now because Mariners don't return to Cleveland again, that's gonna be fun to figure out. Both teams are gonna have their schedules screwed because of that.
If it'd been a Tribe-Tigers series, no problem. Simplest thing in the world.
