Angelle, I am very sorry to hear about your grandma, you have a rough road ahead of you with that, since I know exactly what you will be going thru, as I went thru it with my mom. I will think of you and your family and hope that you all can remain strong in the decisions that lie ahead of you all.

hope school goes well for ya. as for grandma - alzie is a TERRIBLE disease - slowly turning someone from a functioning human being into someone who is nothing more then a veggie case 24/7. it is a cruel and disheartening disease.

Angelle, I only know you from a few RX chats but still wanted to put in my 2 cents here. I'm glad to see you concentrating on your studies and wish you 100% success with that. I have a daughter your age (I think we chatted about that before) and try to drum that in her head too. She is back east now living with my parents, and dealing with my Mom's little lapses as well. It's not easy, I know.
My advice there is to take advantage of whatever help is offered you. There are different degrees of the disability, and not necessarily dire, so just take it one day at a time. Try not to stress. Best of luck to you and yours.
