30-18, made playoffs in all 3 seasons (only 5th qb to ever do that in first 3 years), 80+ QBR all three years, 3000+ yards all 3 years (just 3rd qb to do that), and never missed a start. he deserves to get paid

La Canfora reports that all of the fully guaranteed money comes in the first year of the deal. Dalton will make $18 million guaranteed this season and will make $22 million by next February.
Beyond that, the contract is essentially pay as you. The team will have protections from a cap and cash standpoint should they choose to move on after a few years. In the meantime, Dalton gets a life-altering chunk of money within the first 6-7 months of signing the deal

this. bigbet has said in the past that he doesnt like lewis because he was black.

BigBet also said derogatory things about the owner and didn't think Dalton was worthy of a $115 million contract. So I guess he's racist against whites too???

who knew big bet was so racist.

Bradford got 50 guarantee 78 for 6 so after 3 years the Bengals still got off cheap

Say what you want about Flacco's, but at least he backed his up with playoff wins and a Superbowl.

This one is much more shocking.

reading this info reminds me of the colin kaepernicks deal with SF, so if this contract is like colins deal then i guess bengals will be ok, they are paying him for the winning seasons and the playoff appearances but are not tying themselves to him like the ravens with Flacco. They will able to get rid of him at any point without taking a big hit

I like Dalton but the fact that you do...is cause for concern. You're a nitwit in every way.

Why would you come in here and post that? RT is right on his assessment. No reason for that type of statement.

Idiot, fool, moron, dummy. Those any better? You got any wacko libertarian garbage to tell us about. Please fill us in on the latest ron paul news. His 2 percent voting block are all waiting for his words of wisdom.

Get back to the boiler room and cold call for your 5 bucks so these losers can bet your -850 soccer chalk.

The majority of libertarians have more intelligence in their pinky versus the fools who fall for the staged left vs right paradigm.

I like this signing...Dalton & the Bengals will have a big year....11-13 wins... win the division easily and a major threat for the SB

I like them but come playoff time I don't have as much faith. They have yet to show they know how to win in these situations much less be a serious threat for the Super Bowl.

80+ QBR all three years

2011 - 49.8 QBR
2012 - 48.9 QBR
2013 - 55.8 QBR

80+ ?? i think he's a decent QB, but i don't think he deserves that much…think the bengals are 3rd in the division this year.

Bengals lost some key defensive players down the stretch last year which stalled their momentum...It wasn't all Dalton

Dalton misses key throws all the time. AJ Green gets wide open deep and Dalton consistently misses. He has all the weapons in the world around him but performs at an average level

and they still won the division the last 2 years......better team this year and no reason to think Dalton can't get better
