Not until Pelosi hits the gavel and closes the vote.
People can still change their vote until then.
I hope the ones who had the backbone to vote nay keep it.

Market taking a beating. Is Congress really going to blow this. Republicans may become an endangered species if this fails and the economy tanks in the next month.

They are doing what the public wants. What their constituents want. I applaud them for voting against this shit.

how long is the vote held open for? i expect there to be a lot of arm twisting going on right about now. talk about being in a helluva good spot to get some political favors down the road, those holding the "no's" have got a big stick right now.

Constituents may not agree in a month when all hell breaks loose and shit hits the fan. Constituents are funny like that.

Anyway, aren't politicians supposed to stand up and do what's best even if it isn't popular?

Closed now.

As I understand it she could of held it open as long as she reasonably wanted. And your right that is the time when people try and extract their pound of flesh so to speak. It seems that those who stood their ground were ready to do what they felt was right rather than getting a political IOU.

so what do you plan to do to solve the problem

throw lots more debt at the problem to prop prices up dragging out the pain for a long long time like in the 30s

or just let prices fall to where they should be

i say get it over with and let the system flush out

with many people rising up and taking action to throw all these crooks out of washington

screw 10+ years of pain plus them continuing to grab more and more powers from the people as people stay content as they slowly but surely lose more as corporations and government takes more

its time for a revolution folks long overdue
