st joes hasnt played anyone with gaurds that can match their speed. in the tourament they will play such an opponent by the sweet 16. if not, shortly there after. if you can match the amazing st.joes gaurds 1-1 on the defensive end you will greatly expose all their weaknesses.'

Rob, I am in 100% agreement with you. St. Joes is a bozo school in probably one of the weakest conferences ever. They may be the 1st #1 seed to be bounced in the first round. All these clowns around here who keep boasting that they got them at a great price in a future should have just gave the money to charity instead of the books.
Stanford has been lucky to have been unbeaten until today, no miracle shot to save them at Washington. I think they will make it to the sweet 16 before being bounced.

They are a deserving #1 seed. This was a spot for an upset and actually will help the Cardinal focus in the Pac10 Tournament as well as the NCAA Tournament. That being said, their success in the Big Dance will depend on which teams are sent West. Expect them to reach the Sweet 16. Beyond that will depend on who is still left standing in the Western bracket.

St Joes, who can knock them? All they`ve done is won all their games...If ever a little team could go all the way this would be the year...there are no dominant teams any longer...they will go as far as their 3 point shooting will carry them...anything can happen in March!

Rail is right, Huskies can beat just about anyone at home right now. If rankings were just based on current form they would easily be a top 20, if not top 10 team. Stanford ran out of gas, I could see it coming last game.
What I don't get is how people see all these teams being better than St. Joes or Stanford. Please tell me who they are??? There are no super teams this year, even Duke looks very beatable here in March. Ok State is running over a weak year for the Big 12. The Big 10 is horrendous. A 10 may not be much this year, but no one else is. This year is just so wide open, I don't think anyone will even assert themselves in winning the title. I think it will come down to who gets a nice draw and then just gets it done on those nights when things don't all go their way.

I've followed St Joe's all season and they are a good team. They have four 3 point shooters and 2, Nelson and West, players that can penetrate. Jameer's floor game is almost flawless and their perimeter defense is solid.
I think they are an Elite Eight team. With all the buzz in the city, anything less would be disappointing. They are better than the '88 Temple team IMO.
