Every single day without fail.....Twitter has at least 2 hate Trump categories trending in the top 10.....All day long.

Twitter is worse then CNN and MSNBC.

And we know how bad both of those networks are towards Trump.

Out of curiosity, how are the trending algorithms compiled I wonder?

This is article has a few flawed premises, but it's beside the point for two reasons: it is discussing the economic platforms of both parties (largely irrelevant to the discussion), and secondly...you aren't smart enough to understand why it's irrelevant.

So...why don't you find an article for me that reviews exactly how/when dimocraps denounced their racist past? Since...you know, that's what we are talking about. And while you're on the subject, let's make sure to factor in how that jives with not only the dim party opposing every single piece of civil rights legislature all the way through 1964, but West Virginian dims electing a former KKK member to the senate all the way through the 2000s.

Still waiting!

Oh, boy...a link! With zero original thought attached to it. Should I just post my own link as a response, then we can have ongoing link wars...? That'll really show everyone. I know what you intended to post...but somewhat comically, your link doesn't work. Much like your argument.

This is is exactly what I'm talking about...you literally have zero conception, knowledge or awareness of history. You never studied it, but someone told you about a "southern strategy" one day and that's good enough for you! You don't want to possibly open your mind, learn anything, and maybe even admit you were wrong. You'd rather just believe what you want to be true because that's simply easier and far more convenient.

Tell you what...if this southern strategy was such a huge success, why don't you tell us how Republican candidates performed in elections from the mid-60s for the next 15 years or so in the formerly confederate states? At all levels, too...house of reps, senatorial seats and the presidency. Surely the R's made immediate, huge gains from their southern strategy...right?

I gave them to you, you never responded. Southern White Democrats were racists and were more conservative while much of the North was republican and knows as the more progressive party.

TO me its more of a regional dilemma, yes there are racists all over the country but most would associate hard core racism with the deep south. You associate the deep south as conservative. It's just the way it is.

You live in a Lilly white neighborhood in a Lilly white state.

The south is much, much more integrated racially than the north.

Boston is one of the most racist cities in the country, for example.

The "Southern Strategy" is a complete myth and total bullshit.

In 2016, 233 African Americans were killed by police officers. Less than 20 of those 233 were unarmed.

The Guardian in the UK has tracked police killings of civilians over past 3 years. Avg is approx 1100 civilians killed annually and approx 25% were unarmed.

I personally do not take much note of the race of those killed by police but do find it intriguing that it happens about every eight hours

The left is demanding the relocation of statues?

But, I thought is was the right who were the ones against racism?

You said the Democrats were the racists, right? Back in 1860? And nothing has changed since then, according to you, political party-wise. What gives?

Wouldn't Abraham Lincoln be in favor of relocating a statue of Robert E. Lee? What do you think?

Robert E Lee was a slaveowner who voluntarily took up arms against his country and led treasonous troops to kill thousands of Union soldiers. Fuck him and his statues

If everyone on the left would stop demanding that all these old statues, of old insignificant men, were razed then none of this would be happening.
Sometimes a simplistic viewpoint is what is needed. You would think that they would use their time more wisely.

Correct. I was amazed when I moved down here the lack of racial slurs and degradation of minorities if any kind.

There are literally people who still think we have slaves in MS. Of course, none of them live here or have ever visited but I'm willing to bet they get plenty of CNN in their daily diet.

John Oliver has branded President Trump a 'f****** idiot' for his failure to explicitly condemn white nationalists after a Nazi-sympathizer used his car to kill a female counter protester and wound 19 others in Charlottesville.
The HBO host opened yesterday's Last Week Tonight with a monologue condemning Trump and implying he is 'feeding' Nazis.
In a press conference just after the killing of anti-fascist demonstrator Heather Heyer on Saturday, the President stopped short of explicitly condemning far right groups.
Instead he said there was violence 'on many sides' - and a day later the White House released a statement insisting he was talking about White Supremacists.
Trump has taken heat – including from members of his own party – for condemning the violence in Charlottesville 'on many sides' and failing to call out the hate groups marching in the Virginia town by name.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions (right) said on the Today show that a statement made by the White House Sunday should count as part of President Trump's official response. Trump hasn't personally condemned groups like the KKK, though the White House statement did
