Hingis used to be one of the best. Was wondering what happened to her to fall out of the top 10, but after watching her match vs the russian on the deuce, can see why.

She won the game since the russian retired due to injury, but before that she was really the one running around and trying to keep up as the russian dicated tempo and pace. Russian ended up killing herself with the errors and double faults and Hingis is still a savy veteran that can play the angle game with consistency though.

Ivanovic ran right threw this field and looked good doing so. Not surprised she scored the upset. Hingis looked slow I would imagine. Hard for her to keep up athletically with this new breed. Used to have a Hingis poster on the wall, had feelings for her.

Nice hit, what was the Ana line +250?

3.25 (+225) was my average price at pinny and BF (post comission). I hit the limit at Pinny (which was low) and BF was fairly illiquid too... had to bet it soon after the line came out because I was out before it was due to happen yesterday.

From what I have seen, seems like a lack of power on Martina part. Pretty impressive week by Ivanovic, likewise for Andy, best I have seen him look for awhile. Big MO for the Open?????

I loved Ivanovic against Safina. It was my biggest play of the year. Safina is overrated on the hardcourts. Clay is her surface. I would have gone even bigger against Hingis but I was fearful that the moment of being in a final playing a player like Hingis would get to Ivanovic, I and she would choke late against Hingis even though she was playing such clean tennis. I was also gunshy a bit cause I had a large play on Kuznetsova against Hingis on Friday. I got her at +231 and +222 at Pinnacle for pretty decent limits. I really felt Ivanovic would get off to a great start and then I started hedging early in the 2nd set at 365 thinking if Hingis could get the one break but maybe the match would turn around. Fortunately I was wrong as Ivanovic didn't face break point against her serve once in the match and I made out extremely well. This match reminded me of the Tokyo final when Dementieva beat Hingis 6-2, 6-0. Hingis is a very intelligent player but if a heavy hitter like Dementieva or Ivanovic are on, the results can be surprisingly one sided against her. Congrats to you Santo as a fan and a bettor as you know, Ivanovic was 0-5 in the quarters this year. She's a sweet girl too. Santo, what were your limits at Pinnacle for this match?

$1428 was the limit when I bet the game, but it was soon after the line came out.
