Should Royal be responsible to Tej's past sportsbook victims, e.g. Pyramid and Scores?

Carry, if Tej is the full backer of Royal, he is Royal, and Royal is him. In my eyes, that makes Royal responsible for his past stiff jobs.

NOTE: I am not 100% certain that he is the sole backer of Royal, but I'm hearing more and more that he is. If he's only a partial backer......well, that's a little messier.

WHat happens if (or according to xpanda, when) ROyal send the tapes to an audio expert, and it is proved that Royal was telling the truth. What are you and the shrink and the player going to do for royal to compensate them for the smear campaign that has gone on. Is anyone going to even take the time to write a true apology. Is your psoistion then that since Tej ripped off a whole host of people, it is OK to steal from him. I wouldn't really have a problem if the purpose of forcing Tej to pay out 20k, was to use that 20k to pay off the score and pyramid players. But if the logic is that since Score cheated people, its alright to scam royal. I don't really buy it.

marc, Before the tapes apparently proving this player bet his last 20k, Royal had lied, and stalled this bettor. Refused to pay him to be exact. Then Royal comes up with this BS about 10k max payout per week. Thats 3 weeks after lying to him his 200k was on its way to him. I will say after listening to the tapes Bet Royal does not owe him any money. But to say SHRINK has smeared this book is ridiculous. They need to be shutdown, not apologized to.

Whether royal is telling the truth or not, royal is a shit book and you would have to be nuts or uninformed to deposit there. Royal has ruined their reputation for themselves - I know that because I used to use them and think they were a good book - until they slow paid me and I got out. Long after I got out they still had a banner here at the RX and people like fishead praised them, but I knew better and said it many times.

Funny one of your first lines is about Shrink not speaking for himself. The answer on your site is because you banned him from posting, something that is childish and completely inappropriate. If you are going to attack the man, let him defend himself. What are you afraid of?

The real question is why can't Royal speak for themselves? Were they slow paying their computer vendors, were their keyboards repossessed? It wouldn't shock me. I did not address this to you, but you prefer to make things personal instead of taking the issues head on, that's fine.

Major, did you read the first line and title of my letter? What did I say? If he bet his account down to 0, don't pay him. What part of that opinion don't you understand? It's also interesting to note that you have never spoken to the player, something you should do instead of relying on the 10 second voice mail you inadvertently erased.

The player is either telling the truth, a con man, or just completely nuts. Let's try and find out without the silly challenges. It's funny, Ken called me last night and asked what I thought of someone putting up 100K etc, the exact same thing you posted, and I told him, don't be ridiculous.

When Amit was discussing sending the tapes or the copies, when it came time to send give Amit the address, Amit changed the subject and said, "Ken, put your business hat on, who are you going to make more money from in the long term, this player or Royal?" So Shrink will have to do what he can with the wave files and the polygraph.

As for WSEX advertising on the Rx, If I had any say, WSEX would have been off both MW and the Rx a long time ago, but they obviously see some value in being on them. That's their decision.

As for me "working for EOG," that's pretty funny. I have been bamboozled into writing a weekly column which I was reluctant to do. I am not receiving any money for it. What does EOG have to do with any of this? I really don't see how this matter helps EOG. Instead of addressing the issues head on, you turn this into a Shrink/EOG/Pete/and now Jay agenda issue. I like being a knowledgeable poster, that's what I have been for the past zillion years. I like posting my thoughts where I want, when I want. If this column for EOG jeopardizes my reputation in any way or brings my integrity into question I will not do it.

I know all about the email Ken sent. It was in response to a conversation Royal had with him where they threatened him. That's all I'll say about it.

Major, who has the agenda here? Who has the conflict of interest? You are the one who has a Royal banner on your site in a permanent premium spot, you are the one who has them manage your sportsbook. If you want to look for agendas and conflicts of interest, look in the mirror. You have defended them to the death, even when the Tej news came out, which is shocking. Your position on Tej varies from he doesn't control the money to you really don't know who owns them. I can not believe that the day this news came out that you didn't call them up and insist on the whole truth.

Maybe you don't want to know the truth, maybe it's out of site, out of mind. If it were any other book you would be screaming bloody murder about Tej being involved, see your own Stockade for details. What happened to you? Do these people have something on you?

I entered the online Sports Forum world 5 yrs ago with no preconceived ideas re. any site or individual. I discovered the RX & MW about the same time. From the first day I could see many differences between the 2. Not the least of which was the attitude of the posters & mods. The RX for the most part was & is generally forgiving and helpful towards socalled "newbies. MW on the other tends to attack and ridicule any poster who doesn`t fit their profile. And it continues to this day your boy izerpussy or whatever he fancies himself is a rude and arrogant asshole. With a few exceptions the site is filled w/sycophants who parrot the party line. As I said this is not true of all but enough to give an adversarial tenor to the place. On the other hand you have Wil, Dante & Fish who have forgotten more about the wagering world than most of us will ever know. Yet they are never condescending or rude. This stems not only from their own qualities but in some part to the leadership Ken has shown. I go to "Covers" many times before MW as a 2nd choice. I didn`t know you had banned Ken, what a bush league move.

Yzerman #19 is quite possibly the worst moderator at any of the sports sites. But being Major's nephew has its perks and in this case it is a $500/week salary and being the obvious heir to the throne for the Majorwager kingdom.
