Dear Mr. Khan,

I, like millions of Americans saw your speech at the DNC on Thursday night.

I wish to offer my sympathy for the death of your son, Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in action in Iraq.

As a former US Army officer, and a veteran of the Gulf War, I can certainly understand the pain and anguish that you and your wife endure every day.

Your son died saving the lives of his fellow soldiers. As Jesus told his disciples, according to the Gospel of John, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

The latest headlines on the 2016 elections from the biggest name in politics.

Captain Khan is a hero. I am sure the soldiers he served with regard him as one. I know you and your wife do. Rest assured that millions of veterans regard your son as a hero as well.

To paraphrase from the Book of Ecclesiasticus, your son’s name liveth for evermore.

Your son made the ultimate sacrifice for his country, a country that was new to you and your family and one which you openly embraced and certainly love.

When you and your family arrived to America from Pakistan, you assimilated into our country. You adopted American ways, learned our history and apparently you even acquired a pocket Constitution along the way. Good for you sir.

But, there are many Muslims in America who not only have no desire to assimilate, but wish to live under Sharia Law.

That is unacceptable to Americans. There is only one law of the land. That is the U.S. Constitution.

As you well know, Mr. Khan, we live in violent times, dangerous times. Muslim madmen from ISIS and other radical Jihadi groups are on a murder and terror spree across the globe.

Your religion of peace, Islam, is anything but that in 2016. That is a fact that is confirmed every time a Muslim shoots, bombs, beheads and tortures innocent men, women and children. This does not mean that every Muslim is a terrorist, but most terrorists, sir, are indeed Muslims.

A Muslim terrorist attack has become the sign of the times.

Regardless of what the feckless, naïve, leftist ideologue Barack Obama and his dimwitted colleagues John Kerry, Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel state, the United States and the West are at war with Radical Islam. It is the job of the president of the United States to protect his nation from all enemies; foreign and domestic. Unfortunately, Mr. Obama romanticizes Islam and refuses to accept reality, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent people across the world.

Groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda have one goal, the complete destruction of the Judeo-Christian culture, our religions and our way of life.

Many Americans have families that have been here for decades, even centuries. Many families like mine have relatives who fought in the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm. Some families have relatives who fought in the American Revolution.

We don’t plan on letting our country be devoured by Muslim maniacs. We are Americans sir, and not unarmed, socialist European zombies. We will do what is necessary to protect the United States. While many Democrats and liberals see the world through rose colored glasses, conservatives understand that there is good and evil in this world. Evil must be destroyed before it destroys us.

Strong measures, wartime measures, must be taken to protect this country from those that wish to annihilate us and our way of life.

Mr. Trump’s plan to temporarily halt immigration from Muslim countries that are known to either support terrorism or harbor terrorist groups is not only pragmatic, but indeed it is constitutional. It is the constitutional duty of the president of the United States to protect this nation.

There is simply no way to vet hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees from war zones like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Europe is being destroyed because reckless leaders like Angela Merkel have opened the continent’s doors to a flood of over one million undocumented Muslims arriving with nothing more than a bad attitude and a haversack of Jihad.

Do you think Americans are stupid? While the left lives in a dream world, the right does not. Mr. Trump understands the threat to his nation and the threat, sir, is not from Swedish Lutherans named Anna and Lars. The threat, sir, is from radical Islam.

How in God’s name are U.S. immigration authorities supposed to know the true intentions of a 22-year-old Syrian man? It is impossible. You know it is impossible.

How in God’s name are U.S. immigration authorities supposed to know the true intentions of hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees and thousands of other sundry Muslims who wish to arrive on our shores?

It is impossible. You know it is impossible.

Whether you, your wife, the Muslim world and millions of Democrats are offended by Mr. Trump’s realistic view of the world is irrelevant.

Whether you, your wife and son would have been prohibited from emigrating from Pakistan to America under Mr. Trump’s wartime plan is irrelevant. The security of this great land supersedes your desires and the desires of others who wish to come here now. The United States of America has no obligation to open its doors in order to placate foreigners and liberals in our government.

To adopt any other course but Mr. Trump’s would be a cause for further endangering the lives of Americans every day. That, sir, is unacceptable.

You attacked Mr. Trump in front of a worldwide audience, yet you can’t understand the fact that he defends himself against attacks from you, Hillary Clinton and the left. What else is one to do sir?

We must live in a world of reality, not a world of denial, delusion and fantasy the Democrats inhabit every waking day of their lives.

Radical Islam is the enemy of everyone on this planet who believes in freedom and justice. Until it is destroyed, this nation must protect itself from enemies both foreign and domestic.

Sincerely,

Ray Starmann

If this man had ended his letter there, it would have been exactly what it should have been. The rest is just the usual Islamophobic BS, that the Father and Mother of that Brave Soldier are trying to fight against.

I don't think you understand what Islamophobic means. This letter is not even close to Islamophobic. It's fucking reality.

Actually it was a textbook example of Islamophobia, after the relevant 1st half. That poor man was not the audience that such a vile, hate filled letter, after the 1st half, should have been addressed to. Fucking reality is what that poor man and his wife are being subjected to, by the Drumpf idiots, and the Idiot Drumpf himself.

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump argued that Humayun Khan wouldn’t have died if he was president “because I wouldn’t have been in the war, if I was president back then.”
Trump said, “I can say this. If I was president, because his son died 12 years ago, if I were president, his son wouldn’t have died, because I wouldn’t have been in the war, if I was president back then. There would have been no war for Iraq, I can tell you that, because I think it’s ridiculous, the whole thing. And to be in that war was, as you know, as — ever since I’ve known you, I’ve been against that war.”

Not saying Khan is the proper audience, but the content of the letter itself is not Islamaphobic. It's like saying saying gays are at a higher risk of getting HIV. that's not homophobic, only fact. A 26 year old male Syrian refugee has a higher chance of having radical views than Hans from Sweden. Just facts.

I don't think you understand what Islamophobic means. This letter is not even close to Islamophobic. It's fucking reality.

There are certain people that have trouble processing facts and reality. Allow me to present a list, both good and bad.

1) Most important issue. People all over the world are being hacked to death, stabbed, exploded, shot, axed, and ran over. The perpetrators are worshippers of Islam. To deny this is to deny reality. To have cautious awareness and desire protection from these savages is not 'Islamophobia'. Islamophobia is the irrational fear of all Muslims, and there are very few Americans who are in that camp.

Islamophobia accusations are made by people who cannot debate, to shut down those with opposing views from engaging in debate, Often it works. Not with me. I don't fear vapid accusations from morons.

The security of Americans is the paramount issue when choosing a president. Clinton has already failed at this, and has detailed her plans to further fail by bringing in thousands of people we cannot properly vet, nor afford because the country is broke. Trump wants to create safe zones in the refugees countries of origin. While not perfect this is a much safer idea for Americans.

2) By all measures the Khan family sacrificed for America. Khan is a moderate and loyal, patriotic American. This is my belief until proof of radicalism is shown, and I don't mean a Facebook link. Khan has already urged patriotic Muslim Americans to rat out traitors of their faith. Now maybe he didn't plan for a week in the national spotlight when he spoke last week. But here we are, and he said it. Muslims like Khan are good for America. If he caught wind of a plot he's drop a dime. We need more of that.

3) You cannot measure the grief of the loss of a child who dies serving. And this is where everything goes wrong. The DNC could have planned this entire thing, knowing how Trump would react, knowing Khan is a fighter who wouldn't quit and much smarter than both Trump and Clinton. "Why not get him on our side?" The DNC used his grief and his son's death to create a political firestorm. Khan eagerly participated, delivering an orchestrated speech that was perfect, right down to the quivering pause before he said, "my copy." Trump bit, and he bit hard. Because he's an idiot with no self-control. As a result of his inability to pick his battles and lack of self-control, this is his 4th consecutive day of hell.

4) There is nothing wrong with the letter penned above. Khan is no longer just a grieving parent. He insrted himself into the political process and the battle for the White House by choice. The letter isn't only to him. It's to all Americans, and expresses valid concerns.

5) What should Trump do now? Same as Prius Wasserman Schultz. STFU and move onto other issues. And recruit American Muslims as spokesmen who are as sharp as Knan but support you, and put them on television. Someone with views like this guy:

TURNS OUT KHIZR KHAN IS VERY PRO-SHARIA LAW!

Posted by The Right Scoop on Aug 1, 2016 at 9:24 PM in Politics | 500 Comments

Walid Shoebat wrote a blockbuster post over the weekend about Khizr Khan, the man who called out Trump from the DNC stage and sent the media into a whirlwind.

His basic premise is that while Khan heralded the sacrifice his son made before the nation at the DNC, a sacrifice made for this country, it’s important to know that Khan is also very pro-Sharia Law and he has written on it both authoritatively and extensively as a lawyer.

Just today, Walid dug deeper into Khan’s writings to show beyond a shadow of a doubt what this man believes:

Due to too many Americans bickering for “more evidence” we read through Khan’s work (and will continue to post excerpts) to only find a treasure trove on how Khan describes Sharia. He denounces any modern reforms stating that Sharia is fixed. Firstly, it is obvious that Khan instructs Muslims to submit to Sharia:

In the same writing, Khan promotes the Al-Muwatta, the oldest book on Islamic law, written by Muwatta Imam Malik:

The Muwatta is full of references and exhortations to Islamic Jihad and martyrdom ideology. (See Source 1). Khan’s argument about Sharia is that it has no room for adjustment, no “right” to have “new source of legislation”. “The Sunnah [Muhammad’s sayings]” according to Khan’s quoting from Islamic history is that when it comes to law, a Muslim used the Quran and Sunnah to conclude:

“it vividly demonstrates that the structure of Islamic law–the Shari’ah–was completed during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad, in the Quran and the Sunnah“.

He even refers to Al-Wathaiq Al-Siyasiyah (Political Documents, see Sources #2) regarding “Islam and politics” by Dr. M. Hamidullah which records 250 documents that includes Jihad in Islam amongst all other things that pertains to fundamental Shariah from an Islamist point of view. Any search on Al-Wathaiq Al-Siyasiyah from the Arabic would yield a library on violent Jihad and its promotion which Khan also promotes. This should shut up our critics, Khan’s work pegs that Sharia is fundamental, fixed, with little or no room for any wiggle.

I’m not posting this to argue that Trump should use this to attack Khan. No, he’s dug himself into a big hole and really needs to move on.
Rather, I simply want you to know the true background of the man who stood on stage at the DNC last week, a background the media won’t mention.

Well he's all over cable news so some anchor is going to have to ask him if he will denounce sharia.
