I've been watching Barrack on the stump and he impresses me as a man of considerable ego and intelligence.
As the first black President, Barrack will have an opportunity to prove that he's a man of all of the paople - not just the blacks and special interests that he's represented up to this point.
He could be a Carter or he could be a Clinton, or he could be a Reagan/JFK.
Like Clinton, he could guide his ship of state to the middle and do what is best for the nation as well as what is politically expedient.
There are a ton of systems that drastically need fixing starting with energy and education.
He could use his considerable Presidential clout to direct a rudderless congress toward a future that would truely be a shining light on a hill - a beacon for all of the people to harken to.
We can all be pessimsist and see the worst in both candidates, or we can be optimists and pray for the best.
By the way, since I don't care for the ideology of either candidate, I still haven't decided who I'll vote for.
