an annoying gambler

kinda a weird story, but this bothers me and i dont know where else to tell about it.

i know a guy probably about 21-22 that i see around town from time to time. ill be sitting at my local sports bar watching a game and every time i see him hell come in and any game thats on hell come in and say he has whatever team is winning. like for instance last week i was there and the clemson duke game was on and he comes right before halftime and says he got big money on clemson. the worst is when nfl games are on sundays and hell come in right after 1 o clock every single time and whoever he sees has a 10-0 or 14-0 lead early thats the team he has. its pretty annoying honestly, but what can i say? should i just ignore him?

I would ignore him. The worst is when you bet a side and you tell your friend about it and he pours on all that fake sympathy crap if it loses. I just don't tell anyone what I bet. It's almost like people get off on your losing.

hes not a freind really, he seems like a nice kid, hes more of an acquantiance. i always end up talking to him though because he knows i bet on games and i just happen to see him at this bar a lot. i dont talk to him outside of there ever. but i mean if he woulda walked in during the duke clemson game and it was tied at halftime he wouldnt have said nothing about the game at all.

when i saw him come in and clemson was up big at half i knew he was gonna claim to have bet them.

i agree rob i never tell people what i bet on and honestly i dont even say really anything to him about games i have so i just dont get why he has to keep telling me he has every game thats way ahead?

I've seen a few of these characters at Hollywood Park, always barking how much they had on the winner, but usually pretty quiet until after the race is over. Would love to see them telling everyone how great their selection was, then have it get taken down. Anyway, they're good for the entertainment value they provide.
