Charles Edward Shackleford (born April 22, 1966 in Kinston, North Carolina) is an American former professional basketball player.
Shackleford played collegiate basketball at North Carolina State University. He was selected by the New Jersey Nets in the 2nd round (32nd overall pick) of the 1988 NBA Draft. He played in six NBA seasons as a forward-center for the Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Hornets. Shackleford's best year as a pro came during the 1989-1990 NBA season when he averaged 8.2 points per game in 70 games for the Nets. Having played in top European teams, he led the 1995-96 Euroleague in rebounds averaging 12.3 per game with Fenerbahçe Ülker and won the 1997 Korac Cup wearing Aris' Thessaloniki jersey.
Shackleford is sometimes remembered for telling a reporter after an NC State basketball game that "I can shoot with my left hand, I can shoot with my right hand, I'm amphibious".
