American Posters: What governmental action would finally make you revolt?

The government tells us how we can spend our money (restrictions on gambling), what we can read (the ability to subpoena our library and internet records without our knowledge), and where we can go (travel embargoes on countries that don't cooperate with our agenda).

Is there a line in the sand which you will not tolerate being crossed? What is it?

Will you just put up with whatever the government does so long as you can maintain your standard of living? Do you feel free so long as the military keeps out invaders and the police help you if you're assaulted?

If armed government officials were ready to start going door to door searching for items such as Bibles, guns, gold, etc., thats about the time when I think I would draw the line and be ready to sacrifice my life for the "cause".

I gamble as much as care to, use the libraries every day always finding something that catches my eye and travel as much and as far as my budget allows

For the most part I see myself accepting whatever the government decides as it's been ok my entire life

This is a fukn gambling forum. No one cares. We need winners. Bad.
If that's what you need, go down to the sub-forums and beg for another handout in whatever sport tickles your fancy. You don't see me down there complaining that you guys looking for plays are lazy and ignorant and hoping for someone else to do the hard work, do you? It's a forum, we can all post about our respective interests without disrupting the others.

I'll leave when they start enforcing things.

The day you truly can't gamble, get arrested for speeding, get arrested for jwalking, can't walk with a dog off a lease, etc - that's when I look to Australia.

Right now, they just write a lot of laws

Correct, SEAN.

Governmental restrictions are only troublesome if they can be enforced.

At present, I can gamble to my heart's content without undue obstruction. I can travel anywhere in the world I can afford to pay for and if there's a couple of countries on the "anti-USA" list, then all I have to do is jump first outside the US and then into that country.

And of course, no one in any government agency gives a shit what I (or anyone reading this post) check out of a public library or what my internet habits include.

sounds tasty...but I gotta get my (hopefully) new trusted herb Out to come through

I'm right at about two years now since I did an actual score.

Longtime former coworker with SheBar assured me last month he could be my new Guy, but I've yet to follow up since he only handles hydro and I need about $150 for a halfer

More assured and easy score in Melbourne, but that's about six hours roundtrip, so I'm staying off

If he fails, I'm down for a drink/bite in the Brandon area (about 30 miles east for me and about 50 miles west from Orlando)

Nice B'man. He's coming all the way from Biloxi and you're gonna make him drive the extra 10 miles. What a host.

"hydro" reefers of course to the plant being grown in hydroponic conditions (as opposed to in outside ground soil), but also usually reflects a higher grade of seed and overall cultivation - thus producing an end product that is anywhere from 2 to 5 times more potent with regard to the overall active ingredients.

So yes, price will thus be anywhere from 4 to 5x (or even a bit more depending on grade) "regs" (garden variety marijuana most usually grown in a backyard and/or imported from south of the border. And it will be 2 to 3x the price of "mids" (midgrade product usually grown in the ground but with a higher grade of seeds and/or cultivation)

And bottom line response to "how is it?" would of course be that it's a more positive overall effect and also that if it's ingested by toking, it reduces the intake by at least an equivalent ratio to those listed above as compared to toking "reg" or "mid"-grade pot.

When I was in Colorado this past May, enjoyed some very high end product cultivated by some community friends of DaughterBar and was more than satisfied after just two to three tokes off a glass pipe.
