"Animal Kingdom" is gonna try to be as big as Sons Of Anarchy by venturing along the same "vein", very similar outline

I don't expect it to work, don't anticipate the producers of this will know the success they desire.

I could be wrong though.

Thanks for the tip on that Doc Director Louie....I'd never heard of him....Googled and was encouraged.

Sure man! Very good reporter!

All thats out of Animal Kingdom is a 1 hour "Pilot" introduction to the characters pretty much that TNT broadcast after the basketball game last night. The actual series don't begin on TNT til June 14 or thereabouts.

I totally dig the producer's effort to do what they are trying to do and they do have, potentially at least, a plotline that could maybe see their effort payoff and even possibly to the level that SOA did...

also very brilliantly they are gonna be able to create great sympathy, connection for specific characters as SOA did

and this plotline, characters they have to work with could see them successfully mold a connection to characters on par with SOA

but I just don't know. The unlikeable characters are just such transparent scumbags, underdevelopment on the Bad Guys IMO...

its just the first episode though.....maybe they'll pull out of the obvious Unlikeable Character Anchor they could easily have sink their dreams.

Animal Kingdom's path will be interesting, should be anyways. They come out the gate immediately Teetering though...on this Bad Guys just too simplistic and immediately completely annoying.

I will check it out for sure, probably tonight!

SOA was a huge show and the way it ended, it was perfect. Bittersweet. Just like the Sopranos and Breaking Bad.

SOA Pissed me off with Jax's Mom meeting The Truck Driver, in that final episode. That accomplished totally nothing except to introduce total implausibility and for absolutely zero gain plus the Homeless Person was not adequately explained. Other than that though, yes, great ending.

I'd have not had it end so permanently as it did though, myself so I actually wind up admiring Kurt Sutter for being brave enough to let it go but for, even moreso than that, being True enough to His Vision to end it as he chose to.

SOA Creator Kurt Sutter played the role of Otto in the show.
