Good question. My guess is that less games ended on controversial calls, but I don't know. I for one don't believe the NFL fixes game. They have 9 billion in revenue and are growing. They have no need for a mass conspiracy to make their product a little more entertaining. I am a cynical guy, and I think the league office is full of assholes who have covered up a link to concussions, and protect their owners -- some of whom have engaged in fraud -- like Haslam. But the reward for fixing multiple games -- which would require a lot of complicity for a lot of people -- is just not very big for the risk, which would be to jeopardize their league. The NFL basically prints money. They don't need a massive conspiracy to help ratings (the allegation most have). This is some FLat Earth shit.
