The ref cut the fight way too short. It should've gone on anther 30 seconds or so.

Fans should've been allowed to see Rousey on her back out cold.

Agreed.

Question I have is..... why did she not make even a small adjustment? She was eating fists to her face like bugs peppering a windshield on a highway.

She just backed up and said... let's run right into that again. lol

Haha, I hear ya! No doubt she would have!!

the unfortunate time that the refs #1 job is fighter safety. Lol

Because the first punch stunned her. One good punch and Rouseys entire game plan gets twisted...not to mention, how else was she suppose to get inside, clinch, and hip toss? She has zero head movement, only moves straight forward. No good.

Exactly.

Why not shoot in and go for a takedown. Or do something to try to get it to the ground, where she might have an advantage.

What were the odds in this fight?

And what odds were there for Rousey to get knocked out in the first round?

Rousey closed somewhere in the -150-165 range. Idk about getting finished in the first, but I played Nunes to win by stoppage at +195.

She tried to clinch after the first flurry, and she got pushed off and pummeled.

You're right MattyMatt.

Rousey seems very one dimensional, now.

This women's division is a lot stronger than when Rousey first became champion.

Rousey got so destroyed how can she even be marketable now? Who would believe her as a WWE champion or an ass kicking movie star now?

Rousey is still young, hot, and mainstream. She cashed in a good chunk of change and now she can take a more active role in movies.

Maybe, she does have a 3 movie deal with lifetime, and supposedly the remake of Roadhouse, however, Mile 22, a movie she was to star in was put on hold for the simple reason of her acting wasn't up to par. No telling. She got a chunk of change regardless, though.

Exactly. Contracts have been made and she's cashing in like a cash cow and good for her. Now she's going to have to ride this part of her career wave as best she can and get out because just as thecentaur said she's not a talented actor but her name draws UFC fans to movies and it's all about the moola. I wish people like her as young as she is, to be smart with the money she earning right now and have a good advisor. As fast as she has become mainstream she go out just as quickly. I do wish her the best.
