The most boring games in sports. I watched a total of 15 minutes and that was only because of basketball.

You have to give yourself a chance to enjoy them. Watching for 15 minutes doesn't give yourself enough of a chance. I enjoyed them. They should have the Winter Olympics now this year also. It was stupid to change them to have them two years after the summer games in my opinion.

TT,

I'm with you. Talk about a snooze fest. A bunch of athletes I don't know, from countries I don't know, playing sports I don't know.

I am relieved they are over - mainly because we got through them without a terrorist attack.

(I'm amazed to hear that staunch conservative, Bill O'Reilly (sp?), is 'pro homo.)'

best set of sporting events IVe ever had money on. great wagering opportunities (with some luck along the way). Loved and watched (mostly on the internet for live scores ) dozens of hours, even woke up a few times at 4am to watch some live stuff on Bravo and MSNBC. Loved it great job by NBC.

I'm with you. Great money making two weeks as I went 6-0 in men's hoops playing mostly against the USA and finished it off today with Andre Ward winning the gold medal in the boxing lightheavyweight division at +650. There's always an opportunity around the corner if one looks closely enough.

NBC makes you glad they are over with their coverage of bullshit sports that you can see every day of the year. Show more water polo,handball,6 on 6 volleyball (beach volleyball blows), weightlifting, show me different stuff.

i want to see the sports where winning the gold is the pinnacle of the athletes career , i do not need to see sports where the athletes take time off of their shit wnba and wusa schedules to compete in shit i dont care about.
we may be American but do we really give a shit about USA womens hoops and womens soccer?

I particularly enjoyed the ladies team artistic gymnastics. Nubile nymphs in very short skirts.

I didn't really care about the Olympics, either, made no bets on it. Not confident in capping it, don't know where to begin !

I watched maybe 1 hour total of it.

Maybe I am in the silent minority, but ever since I saw my first Olympics in person back in 1972 as a teenager, I have learned to truly appreciate the competition and how much WINNING a medal means to many individuals, and more importantly, their countries...

I still am quite an idealist at times, and the SPIRIT of these particular games has a lot of meaning for me on both a personal and spiritual level...

Shrink: Gamblers don't care anymore than ballplayers do. It's just another game !

Anybody here will bet against their country ( USA or other), if they think their bet will win !

That's REALITY !
