Auburn is down to -7.5 now. If it hits -7 or lower, I'll probably play Auburn. Their QB and offense have quickly improved and can pound the rock. Defense is very good. Auburn also off a bye and Arkansas off two very tough home games.

Give me the Hogs + the points. Auburn has beaten some bad teams. Hogs off impressive win against Miss

Kan St - points against Texas. I want to check the health of the KSU QB, but I think this is a great matchup for KState. Not that impressed with UT off win against ISU as that game was ISU 6-3 at the half. UT made adjustments but I think it was more a worn out ISU team that wilted in the warm Austin air than a UT romp.

LaTech should cover the 14. Look for that number to climb throughout the week. They have a very good offense, but bad defense. They should easily put up 40+, and will get enough stops to cover.

I also like Wisc and Ark., but need to look into them further.

I like the spot for Iowa. They are at home playing better and catch a Wisconsin team off a massive game that was physical and draining at home at night against Ohio state. Tough loss in OT. They also played Michigan a few weeks ago. Overall just feels like a bad spot for them. I bought it to 3.5 as I feel if Iowa does lose it will be by a field goal.

I wouldn't count on Iowa beating Wisconsin. NDSU in the 4th quarter in the trenches threw Iowa around like rag dolls. I don't think Wisconsin is hugely better then NDSU but they are better in the trenches. BTW NDSU just lost at home this weekend. Iowa beat awesome Rutgers by SEVEN!! Northwestern beat Iowa by 7 at Kinnick Stadium, no reason Wisconsin shouldn't do at least that. Wisconsin defense held an OSU offense with speed and talent in check, they should do the same against Iowa which doesn't have those attributes. They only question is if Wisky's QB pukes up turnovers like he didn't do against OSU. Clement is coming into his own and should have a solid outing against the Hawkeyes. I like Wisconsin in this game, 27 to 13 type of score.

Teams play differently throughout the season. I don't care what Iowa did earlier on or. This is more about the spot and situation for both teams. There is a reason the line is only 3! Anything can happen but in this spot with where these two teams are at and the game Wisky is off of I will take the points.

As far as Iowa and Wisconsin, I live in B1G country and have see both teams play numerous times this year and with the situation, -3 is about right, though I like Wisconsin to cover. Wisconsin played @Michigan St, @Michigan, BYE, Ohio St the last four weeks and that is one heck of a physical schedule. Iowa did struggle earlier on, and they frankly arent that good, but they really should've beaten NDSU, and their style typically doesnt lend itself to blowing anyone out (though Rutgers is beyond terrible). A couple keys will be if Kittle is out for Iowa, and how Wisconsin handles the pressure. One more loss and Wisconsin is likely out of the B1G West race, so that could either give them extra motivation, or cause them to falter.

This will be a tight game do the similar styles of the teams. I'd guess Wisconsin pulls away late as they have more playmakers than Iowa, though that doesnt take much, and have a better D. If they get up 10 or so in the 4th and force Iowa to throw, that will be Iowa's undoing. I'd keep an eye on the Wisconsin @ NW line in three weeks, especially if Wisconsin loses to Iowa or Nebraska. As mentioned that would all but end their B1G West hopes, and they would be off a brutal schedule.. @Mich St, @Mich, BYE, tOSU, @Iowa, Nebraska, @NW.

So much for that, the line's back up to -9.5 now. Hopefully it'll dip again before kick off.

Iowa should have beaten NDSU? Really? That game NDSU rushed for 239 yards and 4.9 ypc, Iowa rushed for 34 yards, 1.4 ypc. It was the type of physical domination we seldom see in college football anymore. Had NDSU missed the game winning FG which was about 6 inches within the upright Iowa would have escaped with a win they had no business claiming and Iowa vs Wis would prolly be a pick em. Point being if NDSU is this much better than Iowa in the OL and DL so is Wisconsin. Iowa has unimpressive wins over Rutgers, Minnesota and Purdue. Yes you could say the same thing about Wisconsin's win over Georgia State, I get that. And the Wisky QB is the unpredictable part of this game. That and the Big 10 generally being an unpredictable mess. If both teams play fairly error free in the turnover dept, Wisconsin covers the 3.

Yes and by that logic since Virginia Tech got housed by Syracuse they should be at least 14 point dogs or so against Miami. Line is off by 20 points act quick.

Reminds of Miami coming off that tough loss to Florida State 2 weeks ago. It's either Iowa or nothing.

Big time let down spot for Wisky

Not trying to be a troll, just not sure it's a let down spot. Disclaimer: I am a huge Wisconsin fan so take this for what it is worth.....looking at the Badgers schedule at the start of the year, the best case scenario was winning the West division of the B10. The win over MSU and Iowa's loss to NW made that a possibility. If (and that is a massive IF) Wisconsin wins out and Nebraska loses to Ohio State (or anyone else) Wisconsin goes to the B10 CG. This is a huge game for Wisconsin, not a let down spot.

That being said...Badgers offense is not dominant enough to feel comfortable laying points to a good team on the road. The defense is excellent and could get Biegel back this week but the offense doesn't run the ball like it used to and special teams are a big question mark.

Not sure if that helps.

Comparing Va Tech vs Miami to this is comparing apples to surfboards. These teams, NDSU, Iowa, Wisky are good old fashioned meat and potatoes eating white farm boys in the trenches pushing each other around, old fashioned football. Ferentz prides himself on conservative football highlighted by line play, Wisky has been the same thing for decades now. Iowa and Wisconsin have a BIG difference in talent and skill in this facet of their teams. And Corey Clement runs with a lot more power then King Frazier did. If this was Iowa vs a spread team I wouldn't have an opinion, but having watched this style of football for much longer then I would like to admit, Wisky has a big advantage in this game, more then 3 points.
