Do these soldiers actually believe in what they are doing?

Oct. 15, 2005 - Cruising through the Al Wahdi neighborhood in eastern Mosul, Iraq, Lt. Colonel John Norris ducks down from his command hatch in the heavily armored Stryker vehicle. "Look at all the people on the streets, in the lines at the polls," he tells his fellow American soldiers. "That's a good thing to see." For the 4-23 Battalion, aka the Tomahawks, Oct. 15 was starting to look like one of the most peaceful days of the war. Sunny weather, about 85 degrees, and not too humid. "It's a great day to be a Tomahawk," grins the 42-year-old Kentucky native.
No Im sure theyre all pissed about the enormous progress theyve made.I realize you rats are under the impression that the everyone who believes in the war are brainwashed (incl. the military-theyre just robots doing thier jobs,right?)....but as far as I can tell the vast majority not only beleive but are enthusiastic about the prospect of victory.
Doc theres obviously no war worth fighting in your eyes so most of what you post goes right by the wayside, sorry. Some others in here seem to have intellect but you then tarnish that image by begrudgingly backing him up in his ridiculous rants (Doc is right....he backs up his post with facts....that was one of the funniest things Ive ever read in here).Yes everyones entitled to an opinion but just to type for the sake of typing is insane.Save your doomsday, crystal ball, sky is falling BS....nothing you fools have predicted has come true in years.Kind of like a MUSH.
