Sunday 2-2 -3.55 Units

Season 179-147-10 +159.36

(20 Units Plays Now 7-2 or (78%)

Here are today's selections:

5 Units Michigan State -2.5 (LOST 64-68) -5.15 UNITS

Yes Badger fans, a three-peat is still a possibility after defeating Purdue 82-46 Sunday. Center Mike Wilkinson led the Badgers (R: 4-6 Su, 3-7 ATS) with 23 points and 12 rebounds while Devin Harris scored 16 points as the Badgers completed their first unbeaten home season. The Badgers are the two-time defending conference champs, but the Spartans can snatch the title Tuesday night. Wisconsin has been shakey on the road while the Spartans are money at home and on a 9-1 SU run and knocking off visitors by an average 73-65 ppg. The Badgers will need a big effort here to defend the title. Wisconsin defended their home turf in the first meeting with the Spartans 77-64.

5 Units Syracuse -1.5 (WON 65-52) +5.00 UNITS

The Orange (R: 6-3 SU, 5-4 ATS) performed surgery in Pittsburgh over the weekend when they took apart the Panthers home winning streak at 40 with an overtime 49-46 victory. Hakim Warrick scored 17 points for the defending national champion Orangemen, who tied Seton Hall for fourth place in the Big East. The top four Big East teams receive a first-round tournament bye. The Panthers shot a terrible 30.9 percent and, for the first time since opening their new arena, were pushed around at home. Virginia Tech had a 53-49 Big East victory over the West Virginia (H: 10-4 SU, 6-4 ATS) Mountaineers on Saturday. Kevin Pittsnogle led the Mountaineers with 22 points as they shot a wretched 32% from the floor including 6 of 24 from the arc. Good timing for the Orange who just won on the road at Pitt and now are a sinch to dissect the Mountaineers.

5 Units Pittsburgh +3 (SU WINNER 88-61) +5.00 UNITS

The battle for the top spot continues through Tuesday when the Panthers and Friars get together. The teams are tied at 11-3 with Connecticut in conference play. Pitt had their 40 game home winning streak snapped 49-46 in overtime by Syracuse Sunday. Pitt (25-3, 11-3), confused and ineffective the entire game as the Orangemen constantly gave the Panthers different looks out of their 2-3 zone defense. Jaron Brown and Mark McCarroll both missed hurried 3-point attempts in the final seconds as Pitt failed to tie it and force a second overtime. It was the second straight poorly played game by Pitt, which rallied from 13 points down to beat Georgetown 68-58 Tuesday. The Panthers had no one in double figures as its top four scorers combined to go 12-for-43. Carl Krauser, held to nine points before fouling out with 1:03 remaining in regulation, and Jaron Brown were 3-for-12, Julius Page was 3-for-10 and Chris Taft was 3-for-9. Providence has won six straight after charging by undermanned St. John's 103-78 this weekend. The Friars led early and coasted to the win as Ryan Gomes had 19 points and 11 rebounds, for his 12th double-double of the season for the Friars who shot 59.5 percent from the field (22-for-37). Rob Sanders had 15 points for the Friars, while Marcus Douthit had 13 and Donnie McGrath had 11. Nothing but the best here, Pitt will come out hard looking to overcome a nasty weekend.

5 Units Detroit U -17.5 (WON 62-36) +5.00 UNITS

The battle of streaking teams! But they are streaking in opposite directions: Detroit has won 8 in a row, while Cleveland State carries a 22-game losing streak into this game. Cleveland State (4-24 SU, 6-16 ATS) has little height or defense allowing 44% shooting and 77 ppg on the road. In fact, on the road they are 2-12 SU, 2-9 ATS where they get outscored by a 77-65 average. Cleveland State is on a 22-game losing and lacks depth, with 6’-2” senior guard Jermaine Robinson (20 ppg, 5 rpg) and 6’-7” junior Omari Westley (15 ppg, 8.5 rpg) as their two best players. The Detroit Titans (17-10) really have come on strong down the stretch, using defense to key this 8-game win streak. Detroit has allowed 49, 52 and 46 points the last three games! They are 5-3 ATS during this win streak and on a 5-0 UNDER the total run. The Titans are a tough defensive team (42% shooting allowed), led by 6’-5” senior Elijah Warren (14 ppg), 6'-8", 250-lb senior Willie Wallace and guard Rulon Harris (9 ppg). Detroit is 11-3 SU at home (though 3-7 ATS) where they outscore teams by a 67-59 average. Detroit won 75-53 at Cleveland State and 77-55 on this court, covering each time as 5 and 15 point favorites.

Good Luck Tonight,

ALLSTAR,
Great run you have been on lately. I am a little wary of the Syracuse play. To me this line should be much higher, but Cuse does always pick it up a notch this time a year. But I do love PITT. I think they come out strong tonight. They had a lapse. They will be focused tonight and readyfor this very tough Friar team.
Good Luck
