Here are the game that I will be playing today. Check back around 5:00PM EST for the night action!!!

7 Units Wisconsin -5 (WON 70-52) +7.00 UNITS

The Badgers (R: 5-6 SU, 4-7 ATS) have been dominant at home but just average on the road. Wisconsin needed to win at Michigan State just to have a chance to get a share of the Big Ten title. They got it in a hard fought 68-64 overtime win Tuesday. Devin Harris scored 18 points and Clayton Hanson made a key 3-pointer in the extra period. Mike Wilkinson had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Badgers, who have won three straight. Indiana is on a 1-7 run following their fourth straight loss 63-59 to Northwestern last Wednesday. They played Michigan Wednesday when Marshall Strickland scored a career-high 21 points and hit four 3-pointers in the second half in a 61-56 victory. The Hoosiers (13-13, 7-8 Big Ten) snapped a four-game losing streak with a victory they desperately needed to keep their postseason hopes alive. Indiana also snapped a four-game home losing streak. Wisconsin won the first meeting 79-45 and has plenty of Big Mo. The Hoosiers up and down season ends on a down note.

7 Units Auburn -4.5 (WON 78-66) +7.00 UNITS

LSU (18-8 SU, 12-9 ATS) has HUGE problems despite their thumping of Ole Miss, 58-45. Their All-American candidate and dominant player, Jaime Lloreda (17 ppg, 12 rpg) is done for the year. LSU will play in the tourneys, but look for some quick exits. They are also in real trouble here as they travel to Auburn (13-13 SU, 8-14 ATS). Auburn is coming off their expected loss to Mississippi State 105-91 SU. 12 of Auburn’s 13 wins have come at Home (12-5 SU overall at Home). They are a MUCH different team at Home. At Home, they are only allowing 60 points a game while scoring 73. Both figures are much better than their season averages. Interestingly, Auburn has already beaten up LSU once, 80-68 SU. This was the beginning of the Lloreda injury fiasco. Auburn may begin the LSU slide into oblivion.

7 Units Notre Dame -11.5 (WON 89-62) +7.00 UNITS

The Irish (R: 5-5 SU, 7-3 ATS) defeated Georgetown 61-48 on Thursday. Chris Thomas scored 19 points, Chris Quinn added 18 and Notre Dame held Georgetown to 28 percent shooting for the game. Notre Dame was in control throughout after opening a 13-4 lead early. The Irish shot 37.5 percent and had just five turnovers while the Hoyas struggled to generate any offense. The Johnnies losing ways continue and the worst may be yet to come if SJU has been making illegal payments to players per the expelled Abraham Keita. The Red Storm fell to Boston College 68-54 at mid-week. Darryll Hill scored 24 and is the lone bright spot at SJU if your looking forward to next year. Notre Dame has a cake walk on Saturday.

7 Units Rice -1 (WON 71-66) +7.00 UNITS

Rice is in a duel for UTEP for first place, and they'll get an easy win here against undermanned and defenseless SMU. Run-and-gun Rice loves the uptempo game, shooting 48% from the field. Rice is 7-6 SU, 4-7 ATS on the road where they average 70.8 ppg. 6’-6” junior Michael Harris (18 ppg, 60% FGs, 9 rpg), 6’-4” junior Jason McKrieth (16 ppg, 5 rpg), and senior point guard Rashid Smith (5 apg) lead this aggressive offense while 6'-9", 250-lb senior Mamadou Yamar Diene works the glass. This team is playing very well, while Southern Methodist is in turmoil. SMU is just 5-7 SU/ATS at home where they give up 70 ppg, and Coach Mike Dement was fired last week. SMU assistant Robert Lineberg has taken over, and the Mustangs recently lost 13 of 17 games. SMU has 6’-9” junior Patrick Simpson (11 ppg, 6 rpg), 6’-8” junior Eric Castro (10 ppg, 6 rpg), and sophomore guard Bryan Hopkins (16 ppg) leading the way, but they are playing poor defense (44% shooting allowed). When these teams met on January 20, Rice destroyed SMU, 80-40!!! Rice won't win by that much, but they will sweep the season series.

5 Units Dayton -3.5 (WON 73-79) +5.00 UNITS

Bad timing for the Flyers who, while sitting atop the A-10 Coast Division have lost three of four including a surprising 65-63 home loss to Rhode Island at midweek. Keith Waleskowski had 10 rebounds and 14 points, leading four Dayton (R: 7-5 SU, 8-4 ATS) Flyers in double figures. Duquesne (H: 8-7 SU, 3-10 ATS) held off Xavier 74-68 Saturday. Bryant McAllister scored 14 of his 21 points in the second half and made four free throws in the closing moments to help the Dukes (11-15, 6-9 Atlantic 10) who won their second straight after a five-game losing streak and got their first season sweep of the Musketeers. Dayton is a sure bet for a 2004 NCAA tourney invite no matter what happens in the A-10 tourney. And the Flyers could be quite dangerous in the Big Dance, if Ramod Marshall's back pain subsides and sophomores Warren Williams and Monty Scott continue to play well. Dayton won the first meeting easily 70-58, so expect the second time to be a charm.

5 Units Arkansas +3 (LOST 45-55) -5.35 UNITS

Aaaaah!!! The final battle of the miserables. Arkansas versus Ole Miss was a thrilling football match-up. Unfortunately, the football teams also pay for basketball squads. Ole Miss (12-14 SU, 8-13 ATS) has to be the worst SEC team. Granted, the SEC has been very strong all year and Ole Miss really was out-classed. However, when you only average 27 rebounds a game, you have issues. Ole Miss got drubbed by LSU, 58-45 SU. By the way, LSU is missing their best player for the year. Clearly, Ole Miss is ready for Spring Sorority Formals season. Arkansas has been a little more spirited (12-14 SU, 9-13 ATS). In their last game, they almost doused Alabama’s tourney hopes before losing in OT, 72-68 SU. That now makes 6 losses out of their last 7 games. Arkansas has already beaten Ole Miss, 86-78 SU. As most teams, Arkansas out-rebounded Ole Miss 35-26. Arkansas should get the win and put an end to both miserable seasons.

5 Units Iowa +6.5 (SU WINNER 63-62) +5.00 UNITS

Iowa (R: 4-8 SU, 5-6 ATS) lost a heartbreaker to Northwestern 51-49 on Wednesday. Greg Brunner had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Iowa (15-11, 8-7), but the Hawkeyes didn't have any other players in double figures. Erek Hansen scored on a dunk and a turnaround jumper as part of a 7-1 Iowa run that gave the Hawkeyes a 34-28 lead with 14:25 to play, but the Hawkeyes couldn't build a bigger lead. Purdue comes off a tough loss as well, falling to Illinois 81-79 at midweek. Ken Lowe with 23 points and Dave Teague with 17 led the Boilermakers. Purdue's decimated front line has been without its top player, Chris Booker, since Dec. 21 for academic reasons. The Boilermakers are on a 2-5 SU run and Iowa could find a winning opportunity.

10 Units George Washington -4.5 (WON 87-72) +10.00 UNITS

George Washington (R: 4-8 SU, 5-6 ATS) has lost two straight after a five game winning streak. They lost to Xavier 83-66 at mid-week when they never challenged in the game. Carl Elliott led George Washington with 15 points. LaSalle (H: 5-9 SU, 5-7 ATS) has lost five straight after falling to Fordham 83-75 this week. Steven Smith scored 17 points for La Salle (10-18, 5-10), while Rasheed Quadri added 16 and Gary Neal 15. Opposite ends of the A-10, the Explorers are the league's weakest link. Coach Karl Hobbs has built a deep, young, talented squad, a team that plays defense and has balanced scoring. GW has already stepped up and defeated LaSalle 74-57 in mid January.
