I will be posting all my selections early as I will not be back till late Saurday night!!! Let's start the weekend out right!!!

3 Units Toledo +6 -110 (BetRoyal)

There's a lot at stake in this MAC battle. Toledo is 5-0 in the MAC West, right behind 6-0 Northern Illinois, while Miami is 4-1 in the MAC East, right behind 5-0 Marshall. So why are they playing on Tuesday night? Exposure and $$$, of course. Marshall head coach Bob Pruett said, "Television has made Marshall. We've been fortunate enough to win, but it has made Marshall, and it has put us in the national picture." So two other MAC schools take to the airwaves here for national exposure. And you'll see two exciting teams. Toledo (6-2 SU, 5-3 ATS) has been rolling on offense outscoring MAC opponents by a 42-23 average. In fact, they've won 6 in a row and are riding a 6-0 SU/5-1 ATS run. Toledo's passing offense leads the way, averaging 323 yards in the air each game behind junior QB Bruce Gradkowski (19 TDs, 3 INTs). So can Miami (5-3 SU, 3-3 ATS) pass the ball? They sure can, averaging 33 points and 280 yards passing per game behind QB Josh Betts (2,099 yards, 61%, 15 TDs, 10 INTs). Miami is 4-0 SU/3-0 ATS at home where they are ripping teams by a 45-14 average! Miami University athletic director Brad Bates sent a letter to students and alumni last week, asking them to come to this game. Toledo won 27-13 at Miami two years ago, the last time they met, but look for a far more higher scoring game and a close one.

WEDNESDAY

Here we go!!!

3 Units South Fla +19 -110 (SkyBook)

Important game for the home team: UAB is 3-1 in Conference USA, trailing unbeaten Louisville and Southern Miss. In what looks like another tough night for the South Florida (2-4 SU, 1-4 ATS) Bulls, they come off a mismatch 41-9 loss to Louisville last Saturday before heading to UAB. The Cardinals limited the overmatched Bulls to just 203 total yards! In the first 30 minutes, South Florida managed just 40 yards and four first downs, two of which came via Louisville penalties. South Florida is 1-2 SU/ATS on the road where they are getting outscored by a 40-19 average! Potent UAB lost to Tulane last Saturday, 59-55. UAB (5-2 SU, ATS) was led by Darrell Hackney, who completed 23-of-38 passes for 448 yards and two scores. UAB took the lead 55-52 late in the fourth quarter when Drinkard scored his third touchdown of the game on a six-yard run but Tulane came back. UAB outgained Tulane 649-525 in the loss. UAB is 3-0 SU/ATS at home. The Blazers will get back on track against a Bulls defense that gives up 26 ppg overall (and 40 ppg on the road) and a 56% pass completion rate. UAB win not by the spread!!!

THURSDAY

Here we go!!!

3 Units Louisville 13 -102 (Pinnacle)

The Cardinals' potent offense was led by Stefan LeFors Saturday, when he completed 21-of-26 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown as 15th-ranked Louisville ripped South Florida, 41-9. LeFors ran for 39 yards and a score as well, while Michael Bush had 64 yards rushing on nine carries along with a pair of touchdowns as the Cardinals (5-1 SU, 6-0 ATS) showed no ill effects from last week's 41-38 defeat at Miami. Louisville rolled up 517 net yards and converted 30 first downs. Louisville has the nation's top-ranked offense, averaging 506.5 yards per game, while their scoring average of 42 points per game ranks third nationally. QB Stefan LeFors, is the nation's runaway leader in pass efficiency, completing 77 percent of his passes and being intercepted once in 116 attempts, while RBs Eric Shelton, Michael Bush and Lionel Gates are Conference USA's best 1-2-3 punch, combining for 979 yards and 19 touchdowns. It's a bad spot in the schedule for Memphis which returns home, heads hanging and tail not wagging after a 49-10 loss to Cincinnati last week. Danny Wimprine completed just 8-of-21 pass attempts for 52 yards for Memphis (5-2, 2-2), which had its two-game winning streak snapped. Bobby Robison also saw time under center and completed 3-of-4 passes for 61 yards, but also threw one interception in the loss. DeAngelo Williams, who left the game due to an injury, was held to just 57 yards on 16 carries. The Bearcats defense was tenacious throughout the contest, holding the Tigers to just 202 total yards and 10 first downs on the night. The unit also allowed Memphis to convert just 1-of-12 third-down attempts. Memphis (5-2 SU, 3-3 ATS) won 37-7 last year as a 4-point road dog. This time around the Memphis defense just isn't up to par having given up 49 and 35 points to Cincy and UAB. Louisville averages 25 ppg and looks to repay Memphis from a year ago.

FRIDAY

Let keep it going!!!

7 Units Marshall -9 -108 (Pinnacle)

Key battle as Marshall is 5-0 in the MAC East while Akron is right behind at 4-1. After opening the season with losses to Troy, Ohio State and Georgia, Marshall has rolled winning 5 in a row. They lost 24-21 at Ohio State and 13-3 at Georgia. The Thundering Herd was expected to win with offense, and while the 'O' has been inconsistent, the defense has been awesome, with a +7 turnover margin while allowing 16 points and 282 yards per game. They are allowing just 2.8 yards per rushing attempt! Marshall's offense is guided by QB Stan Hill (11 TDs, 7 INTs) and RB Ed Charles (4.4 ypc). They've gotten better the last three games, scoring 27, 48 and 20 points, but Marshall is still 4-2 UNDER the total behind its great 'D'. Akron (4-4 SU/ATS) also opened the season with three tough games, but played poorly getting thrashed 48-10 by Penn State and 51-0 at Virginia. Akron is riding a 4-1 SU/ATS run behind QB Charlie Frye, but the defense is still allowing 33 points and 199 yards rushing (5.1 yards per carry) per game. Marshall rolled over Akron 42-24 and covered last season. They have by far the better defense this time and should win with ease.

Allstar...

You really shouldn't "Cut and Paste" the work of others without giving credit to the original authors...in this case you have stolen the work of the Pigskin Prophet and I do not think they would be too happy about it.

Why not just simply post all of the plays? Afterall, they are released on Tuesday afternoon on their website...Ohhhhhhhhh, I see....By posting them one by one you want people to think YOU are the author!!

SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Below are the plays as they appear on the Pigskin Prophet's website:

Now, North Texas (4-4 SU, 4-4 ATS) gets the other half of the Louisiana coin this week. UL-Lafayette (4-4 SU, 3-2 ATS) is the better offensive team, averaging over 400 yards of offense per game. The problem with North Texas this season has been the once-vaunted defense. This season the North Texas defense is permitting 36 ppg, and 456 yards of offense each week. Both teams are very effective on the ground, averaging over 160 yards rushing per game. Clearly, the team that runs the ball here should get the W. However, Lafayette can go to the pass when it needs to (250 ypg) change the pace. This may be the difference this year. Lafayette has the offense to break the spell against North Texas, but can they do it once they are face to face? If North Texas wins this one, they will probably run the table in the Sun Belt.
Projected Score: No Texas 31, UL Lafayette 28

I noticed this a long time ago and really don't care either way. I subscribe to this service also and if he wants to cut and paste it fine. The info is pretty good and that is what we are trying to do here is share info. I haven't been on this forum very long but do know All Star hands out his share of winners. Everybody relax and lets win some cash.

We are a smaller group then Jim, Dave, Scott and Glen as they advertise there free games with us as well. Since you know about the site you also know this

"Also note that unless specifically stated otherwise, games and opinions are solely the opinion of the Pigskin Prophet staff and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of featured handicappers. "

We use computer to come up with a final score but so far this season they have not been very accurate the last few months!!! In closing, why are you hiding behind a new user name??? One post. . . you don't even have a f***ing clue my friend!!!

All-Star--

Don't waste the energy on the haters. I've been a member of the prophet for about 4 years and it has helped me in a big way in my selections. It is one of the sources I use in my system. Keep up the good work and don't let some a-hole piss with you. I enjoy the write-ups as do a lot of the guys I cap games with.
