I'm sorry but they don't deserve a top ten ranking, much less top 4. LSU, BAMA,tOSU, Stan, mich st. , Clem would all brutalize these marshmallows on defense. LOL

Looks like some sort of weird 4-2-5 defense that Baylor plays, works well in the pass happy Big 12 but wait until you see a power run game.

Just got back from the game. Really surprised how bad Baylor D is. Kstate 4th string qb ran all over them. Ou and TCU will throttle them.

Baylor doesnt want to be you 13-7. They want to beat you 63-35. Akin to those teams who want to run and gun in hoops and play 100 point games.

With Russell going down, that's going to be much harder to do for the Bears

I'm not sure OU has the horses on offense to keep up but their defense should keep them in it. TCU offense is comparable and might be better now (?) but their defense has been very inconsistent, though I think we'll see improvement as the season goes on.

Russell's injury killed their chance of playoff, I feel bad for them.

And to bash Baylor for that is not fair. Don't forget they were on the road against a desperate veteran team who know them very well. Their RF QB played great last night for his first start but going on the road against OKst and TCU is another level.

They are always a great O team with average D team who dont mind beat you 61 - 24.

Still think Baylor can beat anyone on a neutral field if Russell was still playing. Yes, including Bama

Complete agree. They just lost their most important player on the field. Of course they're prob "over ranked" now. Easy to say my friend....

Russell don't play defense. They might have scored more but it doesn't change what a really good team would do to them. No disrespect but they're just not a top 4 team with or without Russell.

Yeah these Big 12 schools could never hang with a big bad SEC team.

Oh wait, didn't that TCU team with no defense blow out Ole Miss 42-3 last year?

So a Michigan State team that had the miracle of all miracles to luck out against Michigan, and beat Purdue by 3 points and had to come back against Rutgers to win by 7 should be ahead of them? LOL. The absolute most overrated team in the country is Michigan State. I am not a big fan of Baylor and have thought for years they ere overrated but they went on the road and won with a quarterback making his first ever start. Also, the Baylor defense is much, much better than it has been in the past. And TCU won at the same Kansas State 52-45 after being down 21 points. Speaking of Clemson, outside of Notre Dame (at home and won by 2) who have they played?
