The Orlando Sentinel on Monday morning published the most detailed report to date of what authorities say happened one month ago today when George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin.
According to Sanford Police, Zimmerman was on foot looking for Martin when he was approached by Martin. After the pair exchanged words, authorities say Martin threw the first punch, which is what is now protecting Zimmerman from being arrested.
Police have been reluctant to provide details about their evidence which they say witnesses are corroborating with but this is what they’ve disclosed to the Sentinel so far:
It’s unclear who was yelling for help. There are witnesses who say it was Martin who was screaming for help. Lawyers for Trayvon Martin’s family also say it was Martin screaming for help.
Both men were of similar stature. Martin, 17, was about 6-foot-3 and 150 pounds while Zimmerman, 28, is 5-foot-9 and weighs well over 200 pounds, according to ABC News.

Zimmerman called police and reported a suspicious person, describing Trayvon as black, acting strangely and perhaps on drugs.
Zimmerman got out of his SUV to follow Trayvon on foot. When a dispatch employee asked Zimmerman if he was following the 17-year-old, Zimmerman said yes. The dispatcher told Zimmerman he did not need to do that.
There is about a one-minute gap during which police say they’re not sure what happened.
Zimmerman told them he lost sight of Trayvon and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from the left rear, and they exchanged words.
Trayvon asked Zimmerman if he had a problem. Zimmerman said no and reached for his cell phone, he told police.
Trayvon then said, “Well, you do now” or something similar and punched Zimmerman in the nose.
Zimmerman fell to the ground and Trayvon got on top of him and began slamming his head into the sidewalk, he told police.

Here's a news flash: he WAS subsequently arrested, Schmuck, and not By Martin's family. Gee, I wonder if subsequent information made law enforcement decide to arrest him, which shows, once again, you don't know JACK!!

The story was written immediately after the incident. The facts have not changed despite the article's age. If they have, please show me.
You asked me to show you how I knew Martin threw thee first punch and I've done that. You asked me to cite my source and I've done that. And you come back with Zimmerman got arrested? Did that change the original question you asked me about who started the fight?
You are a liar. I did not dispute the word ASSAULTS. I disputed that you said assaults as in using it in the plural form. Zimmerman has not be arrested for assaults. A black eye and bruised eye are one in the same.

What's really funny about Enfuego is he claims something is a fact because it was in an article he read and posted. But if someone else posts something and shows an article to prove where they got it, then it must be something made up by the liberal press. I did not know the police were on the scene yet, so how would they know? Oh, maybe Zimmerman told them that. And of course he is going to tell the truth since he just shot an unarmed teen boy so we must believe him right?

I've said the liberal media acted terribly in this case by posting a photo of a young Trayvon Martin and a much heavier George Zimmerman. That is irresponsible journalism. Again, never said a word about you posting anything but continue to make stuff up if you'd like.
A two month old article means it's inaccurate? Ok. You guys will be the first to say the police were not on the scene so they don't know who punched first but you'll also say in the same sentence those same police said the situation could've been avoided had Zimmerman not gotten out of the car. So, when the police sides with you, it's ok they weren't there. When they side with Z's side, it's not ok because they weren't there. See how this works?
The article I posted very clearly says authorities thought Martin threw the first punch. Now, a jury will decide if they were right or wrong. Proof is a terrible thing for you guys and citing sources is your weakness.
