It was not about racism for conservatives/republicans only for liberals. You brought it up in the first post on this thread. Even many liberals either agree with or support the final verdict. All this thread did was expose you as the fringe that you are. I said I would accept the verdict either way and that out opinions did not matter in the end. Did you notice that there were no hispanic race baiters from day one. Some minorities know where to draw the line only the fringe emerge at a moment of crises.
A huge middle finger extension by the jury to the national media. I applaud them. Sort of restores a little of my faith in the justice system and the intelligence of the general population.
I didn't follow the case terribly closely, and I know for a fact that racism is alive and well in this country (with plenty of it coming from our own Stuttering Clusterfuck of a Miserable Failure in the White House). With that being said, I've watched, read, and listened to quite a bit of the reactions to the verdict...and there is a recurring theme that George Zimmerman was guilty for no other reason that because Trayvon Martin was black.

The only reason the media publicized this story is because they knew it would consistently get them views/clicks for damn near a year. Never mind the fact that anyone with half a brain knew it would polarize the country and create animosity between the sides...
What I still fail to understand, however, is why we haven't heard from the race baiters and bomb throwers on stories like this one:

This case was partly about race and many respected people like Jose Baez and others felt the same way. Just becuase you idiots combat race talk with calling people "race baiters" doesnt mean it doesnt exist.
Of course many people agree with the verdict. There are also many that dont. However, you only read or look at things that agree with your position so you wouldnt know that.
Accept the verdict? Everybody has to accept it....that is such a lawyer type comment.....doesn't mean i have to agree with it. Much like OJ and Casey Anthony jury....i disagree with them.
The only thing that bothers me about the whole thing is that a guy with a gun can pick a confrontation with someone and if that backfires he can just shoot the other guy.

I agree, to a certain point. I own a gun but only carry when I go camping or on vacation with my family. The thought of ever shooting another person scares the shit out of me. A jury could go either way. I wouldn't want my fate in the hands of possible a hand picked group of morons. However, to protect my family, fuck you humanity.
