Dude don't be stupid. This place is in deep trouble. Run!!!
I agree, and I'm 95% sure I won't do it. I would never try to scalp out of it, because if I won there, that could create more problems. But I considered the risk/reward, and $1,000 for $1,000 is a helluva offer. But something that outrageous seems to indicate that they are in desperate need of funds.

I know people who have asked Sportsbook to wire to non US bank accounts in non US dollars and have been told there is a processor problem. This is bullshit. There is no processor problem wiring to Canada or Panama.

I will give Royal credit. They have always paid me and I too have not heard negatives in a long time. Not saying mortgage the farm, but I'd say Royal bucks are worth about 5 sportsbook.com bucks right now.

My breakdown using $1 as standard.

Canadian bank bucks $1
Citi/BOA/Wachovia/Etc $1.1 (Could be seized with no reason given)
WSEX, Oly, Jamaica $1.15
Trojan, Cris, Instantactionsports, Carib, Bodog, etc $1.3
Other books known not to have payment problems $1.5
Royal $2
Neteller $5
Sportsbook family $10
Betus $25.
BOS $100

Sean, there was no processor prior to March 19th. International bank wires can take several business days depending upon the workload of the bank sending them and the countries involved, even Canada and Panama.

This is the exact text of the email I received from Sportsbook.com on March 22nd.

"Since turning our check and wire withdrawal options back on last Monday (March 19th), we've processed 17,263 withdrawal requests. As we stated last week, it will be 7-10 working days before you see these payouts.

We did, however, manage to overload our check processor in our efforts to get those out faster, so had to turn the option for checks off again temporarily to allow them to catch up. We expect to be able to accept check withdrawals again starting Monday (March 26th.) ; again, it will be 7-10 business days before you see your check.

While wire transfers continue to be processed, they are from an international source so it can still take up to 10 working days before you see it in your account.

To expedite your payout, players should use the wire transfer option. Many customers are opening checking accounts that they only use for their online entertainment.

Again, a reminder that withdrawals requested as of this Monday, March 19, should be received within 7-10 business days".

------------------------------------------

Like I have already stated, I very much hope the email is accurate.

People have asked them weeks ago to send wires to non US banks.

They could do that with any processor or any bank account in existence if they so chose.

And I agree Bank wires can take several business days. Many in 2 days, most in 3, I've even seen 1 or 2 take 4. But March 19th was 7 business days ago, and I'm not seeing any reports of payments.

Sean, maybe you are not following the story that closely. Shortly after the Super Bowl they lost their processor bank and were not able to contract a new one until March 19th..

However, believe what you want, I am not going to get into an extended argument with you over this issue.

I too hope everyone gets paid, but I have serious doubts and I find it very irresponsible to be flying banners as recommended sponsors when we all know they have not paid in over a month.

I'd send you $5 for every neteller dollar you have in a heartbeat if it was possible to switch your funds into my name. To say that we have a 5% chance of being paid by neteller is simply reckless and wrong.

Lenny I have no problem with you as I understand the frustraion of just wanting your money but blaming this site or to keep posting it "To make Wil move faster" is just wrong.

You think he doesnt want this paid?

Did you ever think about it in the following manner?

1. Members making posts to warn others about other books.
2. Members making posts so books realize the bad publicity will hurt them in sign ups. Then, books ratifying problem to avoid future negative bad press. How much $ has bad press from the forums have cost Royal over the years?

Wow. Where to begin with that? Guess I've been practicing that wacky liberal math.

I recently withdrew $ 2000. from Royal and it was one of the smoothest and quickest transactions I have had for quite some time. However I really am not in the mood to make any deposit anywhere until I get some of my recent withdrawal requests in my bank account ! Caution is the order of the day !

Sorry, $1 for every $5 of his neteller dollars. I turned it around by mistake. I think you know what I meant.

In my opinion, there is a way better chance than 20% that we will get paid by neteller.

Waiting on a wire, but mine was not part of the batch that "went out" on 3/19. Still trying to find a single soul who was part of that batch.

Wil, if you read this, have you heard of anyone receiving funds yet? If not, are you beginning to feel you were lied to?

One thing I have not seen anybody talk about is SportingBet's repsonsibility in this matter. Everyone's accounts at Jazette books had been accounts at SportingBet books and were switched over without anyones consent. If Jazette stiffs us then SportingBet should be held liable and have top pay us IMO. At some point, if not paid, I will be calling sportingbet.
