How much more worse can my day get! May as well take Seattle +10 for the icing on the cake!

I tore my biceps tendon this afternoon. Hhas anyone else done this? Hurts like hell and Rothman says requires surgery. I want to avoid surgery. Anyone living with this injury? I have it wrapped and am very drunk and can still feel the pain. Not a fan of more surgery but arm is kind of useless. Wondering if anyone lives with it, like living with a hernia but worse lol

My bicep used to be attached where that indention is :banghead:

Dont need surgery. Go to an ortho walk in clinic and get a brace. Your bicep will never look the same w/out surgery tho

I am an arm orthopod. If you dont fix it you will end up with some loss of supination strength as well as possible fatigue and cramping of the biceps. It is usually better tolerated to leave alone when the long head origin in the shoulder tears instead of the distal attachment at the elbow. Which doc at Rothman you seeing?

I tore mine off of my shoulder a few years ago, didn't even noticed until later that day. Didn't get it fixed and it works pretty good, just burns when I do too much.
