All of a Sudden since Saturday night Ive had over 4000 cell phone calls? I usually get 5-10 a day. Why?

mostly Hang ups, crazy people calling, profanities on my voice mail, its just been unreal, Im about ready to get a new number.

this happened to a buddy of mine. he left his cell phone in a cab by mistake..some knuckle-head gets in the cab and takes it. starts calling people in his address book over and over...leaving messages, etc.

some people are total losers.

4000 is a lot of phone calls in 3 days...sure you're not exaggerating that number? There's been about 62 hours since saturday. That would be over a call a minute!

Happened with me with Verzion

Guess what they told me ??? Pay us!!! Guess what I told them:finger: .
Bill was like $5000.00 all one minute hang ups from all kinds of number some were companies advertising BS on my voice mail. Been with them for alomst 8 years and that is how they treated me. I had a very big rate plan that was about $212.00 per month and 5 phones with them. Called Voice Stream and they told me to bring my phones to them and they gave me new camera phones and 3000 minutes for each phone for what I was paying for 300 minutes with Verzion. Coverage wasnt as good but now it is the same. Hate to hear that happened to you also. One message I recieved was from verzion. That was the funny part.

There is something that is fundamentally flawed about a system where you have to pay for incoming calls.
