Bourn says Tyson would knock Ali out 10 times out of 10 fights. I say that is ridiculous.

Opinions?

Note that I changed the question a bit to just say who wins, because the idea that Tyson would knock Ali out 10 times over a period of 10 fights
is just ridiculous.

Ali had the mouth and idiots bought into him. If he fought in the 90's against lewis, holyfield, bowe, and the Klitschko brothers he would struggle and struggle.

Marciano being much lighter would have beat his body badly too...

Tyson in his early days would have hurt him

What do I know....30+ years and 3000 fights later

Mike stands zero chance vs. Ali.

And that's a good list ANOTHERDAY. LOL@!@. Ali would beat the shit out of each and everyone of them.

Not a chance my friend...

Ali was a great fighter for sure....., but most of that (being the best hw ever) came from his social life and beliefs and mouth. No one will ever be like him in that regard.

A great boxer will take out a great puncher at an alarming rate. Ali stood in there with some of the greatest punchers the HW division has ever seen and was never knocked out. Could you imagine how easily a young Ali would have talked his way into a nitwit like Tyson's head. Tyson would have already lost before he ever stepped into the ring. This one wouldn't even be close.

Truth, again. Dodging the Draft, and Dodging a Tyson 1st Round KO punch are two totally different things. Dodge the Draft like a coward, and take the punch like a man, and get knocked out.

I've only seen Tyson in his prime. If Ali could make it through the first couple rounds you would think he'd win it.

Was a young Foreman comparable to Tyson in his prime or was Tyson just that vicious?

Ali. If Cus would have lived another 10 years maybe Tyson would have learned how to fight.

Ali could take those hits? Ha. Ali would not make it past the first 2 Rounds. Not many people did. 22 of 36 KOs came in th first round. That's absurd.

Ali could take a punch, he would have out boxed Tyson to win the majority of the 10 times. Frazier, Foreman, Norton, etc were all better than anyone Tyson ever fought.

Ali was VERY hard to hit. Even when you hit him he was moving away from the punch. Tyson had the raw skills, with the emphasis on raw.

He was bad assed

I agree with you. His speed and power was amazing. About 3 minutes into that vid, they replay one of his KO's in slow motion and you can barely see his left come in. He KO'd guys by not only landing shots on the jaw and temple area, but top of the head and even body.

Tyson in his prime was a beast unlike anything I've ever seen in boxing. Prison ruined him for sure, he was never the same after that. My vote goes to Tyson.

Tyson beat a bunch of nobodies, tough to take anything he did serious. It wasnt his fault, the heavyweight division was best with Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman and Shavers. Don King ruined it after that

He would've def gotten better, but Tyson already had some of the best head movement and pure speed ever. People not thinking Mike Tyson knew how to box, and was a total power puncher were making a critical first mistake...

That's the game plan. If Mike can't take out Ali in the first 3 rounds, he is done because Ali would make Mike looks like a total fool, I can see Mike would be so frustrated that he then proceed to bite off Ali's nipple.

Ali WIN via disqualification in round 8th.
