I really do believe he will get the all time HR record.

You know the one Hank holds, that Barry is about to steal?

I also think he will hold it for a while.

i expect 783 hr by 40 if he stays @ yankee stadium. If somehow he moves to Colorado, Cincinati or philly he could have 900 by 40 in those Bandbox stadiums

Those numbers are insane. How many do you expect him to achieve Jman?

Insane, I expect him to reach most...he has a real opportunity to put together the most impressive statistical career ever assembled by anyone.

I'm not sure why he gets so much backlash, yeah he's been poor at times in post season but , he's not done yet...

He'll get one eventually, is that going to change his public image from the haters? probably not....his career numbers will be absolutey off the charts charts!

Even if he tapers off I see him reaching 800 homers easily, close to 2500 RBI/Runs...400 SBs, bat over .300...

I doubt he will reach 900 homers but to even ponder the realistic possiblity is mind blowing.

reach 4000 hits
reach 850-900 home runs
reach 700 doubles
reach 400+ stolen bases
reach 2500+ runs scored
reach 2500+ RBI

Those numbers are seriously insane...and the scary thing is as JMan said, they are all realistic numbers if he stays healthy.

Unless he breaks down and completly falls apart like the other wonder kid Ken Griffey Jr did.

He should be okay playing 3rd base....his longevity will be somehwat protected over there aside from eventual back problems most 3rd baseman eventually experience...then he may move to 1st base.

If you had to create the perfect specimen to play baseball he would be at the top of the gene pool.

A-Rod is arguably the best baseball player ever made...

Griffey at age 30..HR-438 RBI-1270 AVG .298 SB-173 hits-1950

A-Rod at age 30..HR-464 RBI-1347 AVG .306 SB-241 hits-2067

Somewhat surprising Griffey Jr. was almost as impressive, and we all know what happened to Jr....his career unravelled around age 31 , right where Alex is currently.

You better rethink this statement JMan because it is not even close at this point. Wow.

Did you guys no games in April count? And winning games in April are very important, because if you won no games in April or May, September and October wouldn't matter haha
Just wondering if you knew it counts

I know it counts. He is a great player that puts up awesome numbers BUT we all must admit the pressure gets to Arod. I do not hate Arod. The fact is he has not done it when it has counted most.

Mr April's YTD Stats after a 1-4 day including a HR

360 avg 5 HR 13 RBi's

Not too shabby!

How can you say this? no one has done what he has...

And I am talking about his God given talent, not what he's done on the field but even so, tell me of another player who has done more at age 30?

impossible to find anyone who has done more statistically.

The game is not about statistics. It is about WINNING. What has he won??? Answer: Not a thing.

THe last handful of years he has not helped much in the playoffs when it counted. He has had ample opportunities to get it done and failed. Failed big time.

Well he does have pretty decent playoff numbers as we have established even with his terrible seasons the last two...

Want to know what I love, is that Boston fans keep ripping A-Rod...

Yet ignore the fact that Manny is a career .257 hitter in the Post season.
And in 307 AB's he has 20 HR's and 48 Rbi's in his whole career haha...

So that means he's not the perfect ballplayer?

I was speaking about his God given raw talent, many greats never win...So if he wins ONE WORLD SERIES and hits 850 home runs then it's ok and that changes everything?

Yes, i am aware that Manny has not been great inthe postseason. Very aware of that. I have been pissed at him in the postseason a number of time.

I am not here singing the praises of the Red Sox. I tell it like it is.

Red Sox Fans: If A-Rod is such a choke artist, what is Manny?

Manny career playoff numbers...

81 games
307 AB's
.257
20 HR's
48 RBI's

Wow just amazing huh... maybe you guys should worry about your own players... Manny makes A-Rod look like the best clutch hitter of all time.

He has had two postseasons of 0 RBI's and one post season with 1 RBI hahaha...

but keep attacking A-Rod

very true.

manny ramirez is one of the top 3 hitters of this generation.
but he hasn't exactly been a monster in the playoffs. i certainly remember him being less than stellar in the playoffs for cleveland prior to free agency.

Same idiots who love to bash Arod were bashing the hell out of Peyton 5 months ago. When the Yankees get a pitching staff worth a shit, Arod will get a ring.
