I think it is safe to say those bookmakers who want to try and navigate their offshore business even partially from the US should back off and take it all offshore. I think that is common knowledge, but some don't want to think they will ever get caught.

It should be pointed out that US laws can only be directed at US citizens. IOWs, if you are a Canadian citizen and run an offshore book and have $$$ in US bank accounts, you have nothing to worry about...YET
