Angels have a chance, no Juice in the lineup.

I HATE Gary Matthews Jr. aka Juice

If Juice was in the lineup, I would be all over the Sox.

Today, I will just be a spectator.

After game one, it was obvious that Sarge Jr would only see the field as a late game defensive replacement.

Exactly.

Seeing him pinch-hit last night against Papelbon, EVERY Angels fan knew he would STRIKE OUT SWINGING....it's Juice's forte.

He's not the only Angel who was overmatched by Paps.

True, but at least with the other hitters other than Juice or Kendrick, we felt that at least they could make contact and put the ball in play.

With those two scrubs, strikeouts swinging were expected! Even BEFORE Strike 1!!!

You got to love Lowell's toughness, but at the cost of the team if your injury is going to hinder your play, you need to take a seat.

Globe:
BOSTON -- The Boston Red Sox today replaced third baseman Mike Lowell on the active roster for the 2008 American League Division Series due to a right hip strain.

Boston has replaced Lowell on the active roster with infielder Gil Velazquez, who will be available tonight for Game 4 of the ALDS versus the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Lowell started Games 1 and 3 of this series and is hitless in 8 at bats. He has been bothered by the hip injury for much of the second half of the season and had just one at bat over the final two weeks of the regular season.

Since the injury replacement is being made in the middle of a series, Lowell would not be eligible for the active roster in the event the Red Sox advance to the American League Championship Series.
