joint, -270 would be FREE MONEY. Alan Keyes won't even get 30% if he runs. He has ZERO chance. Zilch. Case closed.
As for Keyes himself, he's a hypocrite. He lambasted Hillary for being a carpetbagger in 2000, yet he has never lived in Illinois for a day in his life. H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E. And then he says, on principle, he's against running in a state you don't live in. So then I guess we can assume that if he runs that he is not a principled man. Well alrighty then.

I think Keyes would get more Chicago votes than expected and more outstate votes than anyone would have thought when it is all said and done. Regardless, your absolutely right, he's a longshot to win the seat but he'll crush Obama in any debate. Bush will get more votes in Illinois as a result of Keyes being in, no question there.

Outstate votes? I know Chicago is known for voter fraud, but still. Huh? Bush will not be helped at all and in any case has no shot to win Illinois. Again, I would be shocked if Keyes could even get 30%. Ryan would have lost by 20 points and Keyes would lose by 40.
