Gonna take Milwaukee -1RL -115

Gotta love playing against those Pirates on the road. I'll take my chances that Sheets is healty enough to keep his team in the game.

Santana for Minny has been very ordinary last 3 or 4 starts. When was the last time you saw Santana at -112?

Bautista damn near pitched a No-No last time but he can get rocked in the Phillies park....wondering if he can get it up two games in a row....don't think so.

Cardinials will win cause they lost for me last night so they will kill Rockies just to piss me off.

I say this my fellow compatriot I agree with most of your assessments...so Im going outside the box today (as if I never do):

Bounce Back Play:STL (-148)These bats cant stay quiet again can they:nono5: ....

I have 2 value bets today which are two games with great value that contain superior pitchers on the road (small bets):

Value Bet #1:Minnesota(-112) Santana :103631605

Value Bet #2:Backs (+111) Batista :ok:

Other teams I was looking at today:"Yanks", "Fish", Royal with Cheese (for your pulp fiction fans), and "The Sox"

Good Luck Alamo...Gentlemen:toast:

Cardinals bounce back just to spite me....I know it's personal.

Minnesota wins, Arizona wins, Yankees wins, Marlins win, K.C. wins.

You have some talent son!

YTD 33-19 (7-0 in picks that somehow dont seem to make the cut)

After another successful evening for the 21 year old student from UM (Ivy league school of the south) I have these games on tap for today:

Bounch Back/System B Play: Milwaukee (RL-1 -131) This game has all the indications of an easy winner...sometimes I dont like that too much. Even your grandmother is on this one. No point in me even getting started why I like this game when you probably already do. Lets go Cap :suomi:

System A/ Webb Play:Arizona(-136) Webb enough said :103631605 (3-0 when putting money on the kid)

I was looking at these teams as well but didnt make the cut: CWS, Detroit and Mets

Thanks for the words Alamo (its all thx 2 U)

Good Luck all :toast:

Gotta admit to feeling a little salty. Been hit and miss with me last few games. Bullpens have been killed me this week.

Last nights Milwaukee game is a perfect example. A beautifull 1-1 ballgame goes into the 8th inning and some gas can for the Brewers gives up 5 runs to turn it into an ugly 6-1 loss.

On Sunday I am taking some R&R in Mexico and put some pesos on San Fran and Arizona and both bullpens blow those games within minutes of each other.

Bullpens are the wild card in baseball games much like fumbles and interceptions/penalties are in football. What can ya do?

Forgot to add Nationals as a possible System A.

Arizona, Florida and my partners Bounce Back game with Milwaukee makes my short list. Milwaukee does fit in our back up system B

Sticking to what I do (give out one game) I am playing Arizona -136. Arizona has snapped out of their pre allstar break slump in a big way.

They were one of the hottest teams in June but a streoid scandal distracted these guys and they went straight into the toilet in July. I have not looked at the standings but no doubt they feel they have a chance to catch the Padres who do not play well at home.

Talking about going into the toilet. How bout them Dodgers. They have their best pitcher on the mound today so this might not be a good day to fade them but I would start looking their way for a play from here on out.

Go D'Backs (and Brewers)

Good Luck Alamo...its bounce back day for you too....Brew Crew have the worst bullpen in the majors...stay away usually unless Cap is on the mound(hench today)...one other thing about Cap much better both at home and during the day....and Im riding the Zona boys till the wheels fall off.....

Not gonna reference which system produced which teams. If you don't know the systems it doesn't make any difference to you anyway. These candidates for the daily play or plays have the best chance to win according to our systems. We will cap the games as usual but hope readers of the thread do their own handicapping along with us.

Gotta a strong lean toward the Cardinals and Royals and Nationals.

Padres: Fogg has been very good lately. Did the Padres sweep the Dodgers cause they are hot or was it that the Dodgers are cold?

Braves: Marlins are scrappy and are giving Braves all they can handle

D'Backs: Starting pitching is not good...this game is a good over the total candidate.

What say you oh booming Voice of Reason?

p.s.

I have been saltier that a box of salt pork while my partner has been hotter then watching Jessica Alva and Angelina Joliet make out.

Remember that I have been salty. I am gonna take the Cardinals at -137. I know...I know...Jeff Weaver sucks. He did pitch a good one for his new team last time out and nothing like facing the anemic Cubs to boost ones confidence. This is more of a play against the Cubs whose pitcher today is not excactly a Cy Young candidate either. I'll take my chances with the better hitting club in what could be a slug fest depending on which way the wind is blowing in Chicago.

Ytd 33-21

After rough night yesterday Im feeling a bit salty...I dont know if its a good sign but right when I was about to post this you pick the same team I was going to...Good Omen we'll see:

System Play:STL (-137):Both garbage pitchers thus far this year so Im going with lesser of the two evils and thats Weaver :103631605 (over is a nice play just in case Weaver struggles...it should go over if he does)

Alamo my friend lets get them today:toast:

Just as long as you have one eye available to look over the numbers and one finger for the computer you can get in on the action. Nothing else matters.

I will not remain salty for long. I am focused on going on a multi game run. Go Cardinals!!!!

Just couldn't get a break in the Cardinal game. Cubs stabing at line drives all night long and managing to come up with every one. They just seem to have the Cardinals number. Don't regret the play, just can't believe it lost after watching the game.

I am definatley salty as a bag of salted peanuts.

Hey Partner...hope your eyeballs are working. Here are today's candidates.

St. Louis, Atlanta, Arizona, Washington, Baltimore, Minnesota, (Pittsburg or San Francisco)

Note: Threw out K.C. cause no way in hell am i betting them to win plus they are playing Texas. Yankee ML is 240 so did not put that one up.

Wonder if I play Washington will that break the Dodgers losing streak? I personally cannot recommend a game today due to salty conditions here in Alamo land. I am in a funk no doubt. That happens. Thing to do is bet small or not at all until the funk is lifted. Gonna put a minimal amount on Nationals. If Dodgers break their 8 game slide then I know I am cursed.

I my have gone from salty to cursed. Not only did the Dodgers finnally win after I bet against them but I placed 5 small bets as sacrifices to the gambling god and lost 4 of them. I notice my one eyed partner has also gone sour.
