CHARLES SCOTT (LSU)
TOTAL RUSHING YARDS

I will be playing Charles Scott under 80.5 yards in tonight's contest laying the 6 to 5. Alabama has been very stingy against the run this season and has given up over 100 yards rushing to a team only once. They have also only allowed 1 runner to exceed this 80.5 yard plateau. The next highest individual rusher against Alabama I believe had around 35 yards.
Alabama plays a very strong 3-4 defense and will have big NG Terrence Cody back for tonight's game. He may be limited in his snaps but has always rotated this year with NG Josh Chapman. I look for Cody to play around 50% of the running situations and play very solid against a very good LSU OL.
Alabama will also play a 3-4 and move a LB up to the line of scrimmage and attack the QB with his hand on the ground but those LB's are better suited to play against the run (draws, etc) and have played very solid and have given up very little yardage in these situations. Alabama's defense has been average against RB screens but they have been very stout against the run.
Alabama gives up a total of about 69 yards rushing per game and although I think LSU will be a strong challenge this is still a very stout rush defense.
Best of luck and enjoy what I hope is a fantastic game.
