I will be playing Charles Scott under 80.5 yards in tonight's contest laying the 6 to 5. Alabama has been very stingy against the run this season and has given up over 100 yards rushing to a team only once. They have also only allowed 1 runner to exceed this 80.5 yard plateau. The next highest individual rusher against Alabama I believe had around 35 yards.

Alabama plays a very strong 3-4 defense and will have big NG Terrence Cody back for tonight's game. He may be limited in his snaps but has always rotated this year with NG Josh Chapman. I look for Cody to play around 50% of the running situations and play very solid against a very good LSU OL.

Alabama will also play a 3-4 and move a LB up to the line of scrimmage and attack the QB with his hand on the ground but those LB's are better suited to play against the run (draws, etc) and have played very solid and have given up very little yardage in these situations. Alabama's defense has been average against RB screens but they have been very stout against the run.

Alabama gives up a total of about 69 yards rushing per game and although I think LSU will be a strong challenge this is still a very stout rush defense.

Best of luck and enjoy what I hope is a fantastic game.

A lot of people dont think Cody will play much today. I like the play even with him out.

He has participated in practice all week and I know for a FACT that if the LSU game were last week he would have been available. He may not play much more than what I said earlier but the wager would stand even if he were not playing. Although I hope he plays and has a big impact. He is one of the best 2 gap DL I have seen in a long while at the capstone. Very difficult to block and when you do it usually takes 2 which frees up Boo to make a ton of tackles.

Is there anyway to have Coffee not getting 10 yards at lower juice?

My book doesn't offer than exact prop, but it does offer Coffee +10.5 yard more than Scott -150. What's your feelings on this?

I would lean towards coffee but i had that option also and passed. if anything make it a small play. coffee starts but may give up quite a few carries to ingram and upchurch even if he is running well. if he puts the ball on the ground again look for his carries to be limited. best of luck in whatever you decide.
