Should be Texas.. they went on the road and beat the number 1 team in the country. When Bama beat Georgia, they moved up more than the 4 spots that Texas would be moving up.

No they didn't.

But Alabama did actually go on the road and beat the #1 team.

It doesn't matter anyways. NC game will be Texas vs USC/Ohio St. USC gets the nod if they go undefeated the rest of the year and if they don't it will go to OSU. Bama ends with no less than 2 losses this year. The SEC winner will have 2 losses, so no championship for them this year.

Only other team I can imagine in the title game besides the three I listed is OU, and that would need Texas to lose to some teams and OU to win the Big 12.

Alabama almost assuredly will be No. 1 when the polls come out tomorrow, but that doesn't mean they really deserve that spot or that they'll hold on to it. It's only the second weekend in October, there are a lot of games left to play, and Alabama has a history of choking in games they should win easily. Far too early to worry about things like this.

everyone keeps talking like its automatic alabama gonna lose a game. just because they play on road at lsu, doesnt mean thats automatic loss lol...arent biggest wins thus far have been on road and neutral sites. plus alabama won in death valley for 40 straight years without a loss. there is still such a thing as undefeated these days guys. just cause it hasnt happend in 3 years doesnt mean it still cant. this is college football not nfl

There is no way. if usc makes it to the NC, it will be the biggest bullshit ever and expose the media and bcs are biased to such an over rated fucking team. Ohio st too

I am confident that Alabama would not beat Texas or Oklahoma, and probably not Missouri either. Bama might have a big edge in the coaching.. the personnel on the big 12 schools is better, and John Parker Wilson couldnt hold the jockstraps of McCoy, Bradford, and Daniel.

If they go undefeated the rest of the way there is no way one of them CAN'T be in the title game. No way an ACC or Big East team gets in, and no way a non-BCS team gets in over a one loss USC or OSU. That leaves the SEC and Big 12. Big 12 winner will get in the title game imo, that's almost certain right now unless something drastic happens. I don't think any SEC team will get in because I think the winner has 2 losses. I see UF, and UGA both losing at least once the rest of the way and LSU, Vandy and Bama will lose at least twice. Plus they have to win the SEC conf. title game. I don't think it happens for them this year. THat would make it Big 12 winner vs either USC or OSU, with USC obviously getting first shot if they don't lose another game. I'm assuming both those teams don't lose the rest of the way also. Ohio St got past its toughest conf. game last weekend.
