I would agree but I think their passing game is not special. The defense from a talent standpoint is their best in a while.

I agree however the OSU spread with a running QB is the weak point of this defense. As always in ALL sports it is all about matchups. In football in a one game series crazy stuff always can happen. No quality teams have a chance of winning worse than rolling snake eyes against any team.

Agree with this. A team that can attack those big slow line backers effectively like OSU did in the playoffs can be their undoing again. That secondary of Alabama seems improved from last season though. I like Minkah Fitzpatrick a lot.

I said the same thing . U c a game like that once every 10 years.. Tons of turnover, fluky TD by ole miss ..

the team is sick with so much talent that they should only dress 10 on each side of the ball to make it fair !

and get good spread offenses eat them up year after year. There just arent any in the SEC this year. Heck the entire SEC is really down this year compared to last. LSU, Bama and Fla are the only really good teams...though Fla has definitely fallen off with backup QB. Ky, Scar, Van, Mizz are really not good at all. Miss, MSU, Ark, Ga, Aub, Ten, A$M are decent teams but have some pretty glaring flaws.

If I had any trust in Dabo, I think Clemson would beat Bama. They have a terrific team.
tOSU steadily improving, has the players to matchup with Bama, and Urban can outcoach Saban.

Bama will cakewalk their way to the final 4.

i agree about SEC as a whole.. it is the weakest it has been in a very long time. starting to think that last years bowl season was the writing on the wall.. its Alabama and everyone else.. there are NO, NONE.. QB's. Use to be a physical dominating, defensive league, now just the opposite.. other then Bama what defense scares you? maybe Florida?

Sec east were undefeated in bowls last year i believe. The entire east is in rebuilding. I think lsu still beats anyone in the country outside bama.

lsu ( sec bias ) .......they could not have looked worse on both sides of the ball....Georgia might have even stopped that offense and scored on them :)

Till they play a good team on a neutral field, LOL. Saban is easily outcoached, i.e. I give Urban the easy pick. Bobby has managed to piss the pants off me, getting rid of Venables in favor of his bro. I can't imagine how damn good OU would be with Brent at the D helm right now, this discussion wouldn't even happen.

And they better let florida in the playoffs when this happens. ...luckily Stanford/notre dame will knock 1 out. ...if big 12 picks eachother apart then I'm not worried about committee screwing florida as much

Bama is great as long as the game plays out their way. Like playing against predictable teams that can't pass and likes to run against them every down to an 11 man box... There's still a lot of football to be played boys. Don't go by one week of football.
