As bad as I fucking HATE to admit it (being a huge LSU fan) Bammer is back and they will kick UGA's overrated ass next week in Athens. I know Arky sux, but Bammer's defense is really tough and Saban is a great college coach who will have a gameplan for the Dogs.

UGA hasn't played anybody yet and they still have yet to dominate. I love this game. Also take the First half LSU line vs. Miss State whatever it is (should be around 14) because they will blow them away early.

good luck

I dont think they are. Still spotty on Offense and have an undependable QB in JPW. They are much better than I expected them to be this year. Bama has always had this aura about them. The SEC is insanely tough - need to split the East and West into two different leagues.

They may be...but at least LSU gets them at home. LSU also found a QB this week. I dont' know how we will deal with that monster NT Terrance Cody though....Jeez that dude is badass.

georgia played south carolina on the road and traveled out west. theyve certainly been tested. to the extent that the sec schedule will test them? no. but lets not act like theyve been playing a 1-aa schedule.

Your right prodigy, I guess I just haven't been impressed with the way they've played and they don't look like a Top 3 team to me. They are good, but I don't know about great. We'll definitely find out next week against those rubes from Bammer. I really hate them, but they are tough on Defense.

fair enough. dont blame you for liking bama. georgia dropped from 1 to 3 for a reason. theyve shown flashes of dominance. but havent sustained it yet. tough game. i think georgia is a great team. that said, im not in a hurry to lay a TD to one of the best coaches in college football the last decade.

Georgia has been tested with @South Carolina (strong d) and @Arizona State. Alabama hasn't been tested...the last three opponents have been a joke after they beat an overrated Clemson in the dome.

Also don't underestimate the effect of the black out Georgia is doing at there stadium for this game, it worked great for the Auburn game and really pumped up the fans/players. First time in 10 years ESPN Game Day is coming to Athens too...

Moreno is looking incredible (another 150 yard rushing, 2 TD, flying leap versus ASU), Stafford has the poise of a NFL quaterback, AJ Green which is a true freshman had 160 yards recieving versus ASU, and in case you didn't see held ASU to 4 yards on the ground....its lowest total in over 6 seasons. The defense is clicking on all cylinders.

The 11 game win streak UGA is on just caps it off...I say UGA wins by atleast 10 :103631605

The point of emphasis for this game: Bama's O-Line (particularly the left side).

If the OL dominates (like they have every other team they've played this year this year), and Bama can sustain a power running game, they have a legit shot at a win here. If not, JPW will be forced to be tested for the first time this year. He has not been erratic like years past because he hasn't had to... the running game has been incredible. Every big pass play has been off of play-action.

LT Andre Smith, LG Mike Johnson, and C Andre Caldwell will dictate this game. And if they do successfully, Bama will own TOP, and the UGA offense will not see the field.

You will be able to watch the first 2:00 of the game and tell the winner: watch the left side of the Bama O-Line vs. UGA's D-line, whoever pushes the line of scrimmage a yard on a consistent basis... there's your game.

IF they stay healthy, they're the #4 team in the country behind 1. Oklahoma 2. USC and 3. Florida.

I'm telling you: this is the 2nd best OL in the country, behind Oklahoma.

In the SEC take any road dog that gets points. Final Score. 10-6 someone. Pathetic

Wow...and I thought I was getting a great line when it opened at Georgia -6.5. I don't think the 'blackout' and gameday atmosphere can be ignored here--they will have an impact on the game. The 'blackout' did last year against a solid Auburn team that Georgia blew out in the second half, and I see Georgia playing their game of the year here against the Crimson Tide. Georgia has struggled with pass rush on defense, but can certainly stop the run (especially with Weston back at DT), which is the key to slowing down this Alabama team which features two or three quality backs. Bama certainly looked good against Clemson and capitalized on a slew of pathetic mistakes by Arkansas on Saturday, but they haven't seen a team as complete as Georgia and likely won't play in as emotionally charged of an environment the rest of the year. Alabama is close to crossing the rubicon and becoming a BCS Championship contender once again, but this Saturday will show why they are still a year or so away...

INSIDE INFORMATION:

I heard the UGA/Bama game will be the blackout game of the year through a fellow student here....if that's the case I like UGA to win the game definitely but taking the points is still worth the gamble with bama

I am definitely teasing this down to @ georgia -1 though if it's a blackout
