You might think you are a sharp to take Akron + 22.5, (the old "it is bowl season" dog thing), but FAU will pile it on tonight, on top of other reasons to go against Akron, coach Kiffin just signed a new 10 year deal. He will want recruits to see a 56-16 win on national TV.

Akron O will go "3 and out" a lot tonight, giving it back to FAU over and over and Akron will wear down on D, submit to FAU's speed and power. Not any gas left for a back door rally in the 4th Q.

Powerful CUSA Conference Champ FAU, whose sophisticated offense has gelled the last 9-10 games under Kifflin's guidance, against a 'lill MAC Conf Championship blowout loser. They were down 36-0 to Toledo, just like that. Akron is 1000 miles south of home, on unfriendly natural turf, with an offense not even in the top 100 against one of the top O's in the land, even considering SOS, yes FAU is up there. CUSA has done well in these early bowl games over the years... though have problems with the Sun Conference.

NO I do not like laying 22.5. But this game also fits into my special "E" game category, it is an 8 rated E game, will explain some other time. Most "E" games will be large, big, but laying 22.5, nope, just a medium/regular play.

Serbon - You may be dead on...I just don’t like the movement from 17 to 23.5. Same with the total as well.

FAU playing in their backyard basically, so noting too exciting to get up for in this game. Plus they’re playing Akron. How “up” for this game can they be. If Akron doesn’t turn it over and scores early, this will be close. If that doesn’t happen, then you’re right, this could be 45-10.

Also, Kiffin isn’t staying at FAU long. A 10 year contract doesn’t mean a thing.

I’m buddies with two books here in TX, and they both have 80/20 $ on FAU and the majority on the over as well.

The "over 20 Akron players" have been in 30 degree weather for weeks, that is the issue. NOT that they lived there previously. Think.
